كنيسة مار أنطونيوس الكبير - سرجبالهي كنيسة صغيرة مبنيّة وسط البلدة أواخر القرن التاسع عشر. البناء مسقوف ينتهي بحنية نصف دائريّة. تعرضت الكنيسة للتخريب خلال الحرب الأهليّة سنة ١٩٨٣. أُعيد ترميمها مع عودة المسيحيّين الى البلدة في تسعينيّات القرن العشرين.The church of St Anthony the great - SerjbelThe small parochial church was built in the village’s square in the latter half of the XIXth century. The structure is roofed ending with a semi circular apse. The church was sabotaged during the Lebanese civil war in 1983. It was restored in the nineties.
سنة ١٨٠٤ رسم المطران يوحنا الحلو الخوري حنا رزق (المطران يوسف) كاهنًا، وفوّض إليه بأمر البطريرك يوسف التيّان حقوق النيابة وزيارة أبرشية صور وصيدا، فسهر على خيرها ملاحظًا شؤونها متجوّلاً في أنحائها. بعد قرابة الثلاثة أعوام من تعيينه نائبًا عامًا على أبرشية صور وصيدا، وبعد أن عرف حاجتها الى العلم، باشر الأب حنا رزق بإنشاء دير ومدرسة مار يوسف في جزين. عام 1810 توقف الأب حنا عن البناء وعاد الى عين ورقة ليصبح رئيسًا للمدرسة في غسطا. عاد المطران يوسف بعد احداث ١٨٦٠ ليبني الدير والكنيسة. ميزة بناء هذه الكنيسة هي عدم وجود اي عمود في وسطها ، وطراز شبابيكها، ونوع حجارتها والدرج الداخلي في حائطها الشمالي. واستقدم لها اللوحات من روما والمذابح الرخاميّة من المرمر الأبيض. وهي آية في الجمال المعماري. اللوحات من عمل رسام ايطالي انريكو سكيفوني. وهي اليوم وقف الآل رزق.
In 1804 Archbishop Youhanna el Helo ordained Hanna Rizk (later bishop Youssef) a priest, and gave him the mission with the blessing of Patriarch Tayyan to oversee as a vicar general the archdiocese of Tyr and Sidon. After three years in his mission, and seeing the urge for a seminary in the diocese, he began the construction of St. Joseph's Seminary in his hometown Jezzin. In 1810 the construction was delayed due to the appointment of Mgr. Rizk as a Rector in the Maronite Grand Patriarcal Seminary in Ain Warqa. Yet after the war in 1860 he resumed his initial project in Jezzin. The church is unique in its architecture: a high cieling with no columns. The white marble altars are beautifully ornate. And the paintings are the work of the Italian Enrico Scifoni. The establishment is now a private chapel owned by the Rizk family.
هو من الأديار القديمة في الكنيسة المارونيَّة، بناه المرَدَةَ سنة ٨٥٠. إستولى عليه الحماديُّون حوالي سنة ١١٢١، مدَّةً من الزمن، فانتقل رهبانُه في أثنائها إلى دير سيِّدة إيليج. تَسَلَّمت الرهبانيَّةُ اللبنانيّة المارونيّة ديرَ ميفوق سنة ١٧٦٦، من الأمير يوسف الشهابيّ. انعقد في هذا الدير، مجمعًا إقليميًّا للكنيسة المارونيَّة، برئاسة القاصد الرسولي الأب بطرس دي مورينا و المطران ميخائيل الخازن سنة ١٧٨٠. سنة ١٨٥٠، أمضى فيه مار شربل سنة ابتداءٍ واحدة. أنشأت الرهبانيَّة معهدًا في الدير، سنة ١٩٢٢. وَمِن محفوظات دير سيِّدة – ميفوق، صورة سيِّدة إيليج الأثريَّة التي أُعيد ترميمُها بين سنتَي ١٩٨٢ ١٩٨٧. لعب الدّير دورًا على صُعُد التنشئة الرهبانيّة والوطنيّة دورًا بارزًا.
The monastery of Our Lady of Mayfouq - Mayfouq
One of the oldest Maronite monasteries built arround 850 by the Maradites. It was taken over by the Hamadi’s in 1121, and back then the monks moved to Ilige. The monastery was given to the Lebanese Maronite Order in 1766 by Prince Youssef Shehab. In 1780 a local Maronite council was held in the monastery presided by the papal delegate Fr Peter di Morina and bishop Mikael el Khazen. In 1850 St Charbel spent a year of his novitiate there. A school was founded by the order in 1922. The monastery holds the famous icon of our Lady of Ilige restored between 1982 and 1987. The monastery played a great national role and it was a major school of formation for the monks.

بنى الكنيسة الشيخ موسى الخازن سنة ١٧٢٨ وكانت وقفيّةً لآل الخازن. الكنيسة عقد مزدوج فريد بزخرفته ومقرنصاته وفتحات الضوء في السقف. كانت الكنيسة لزمنٍ طويل مرتبطة بعائلة الخازن إلى أن قامت بين سنتيّ ١٩٠٢ و ١٩٠٤ عاميّة زوق مكايل. في ذلك الزمان هدّد الأهالي بتحوّلهم إلى المذهب الأنغليكانيّ، ولتحول البطريركيّة دون ذلك، حوّلت وقفيّة الكنيسة من عائلة الخازن إلى أهالي البلدة، وخصّ البطريرك الياس الحويّك الرعيّة بزيارةٍ حبريّة وبعددِ من الإنعامات. تضمّ الكنيسة العديد من اللوحات والتحف الكنسيّة القيّمة. رمّمت في ثمانينات القرن العشرين.
The church of St Doumit - Zouk Mikael
The church was built in 1728 by Sheikh Moussa el Khazen as a private church for the Khazen family. The structure is ornate with arabesque decoration and lucarnes in the vault, blending cribbed and crossed vaults. The church was a fiefdom of the Khazen family until the uprising of the peasants between 1902 and 1904. Back then the Maronite Patriarchy made the church a parish for the people to prevent them from turning to anglicanism. Also the Patriarch Elias Howayek made a pontifical visit to the parish and gave the parish many indulgences. The church holds a lot goldsmith artifacts and paintings. The building was renovated in the eighties of the XXth century.
