كنيسة مار بطرس وبولس - قرنة شهوان شيّد أهالي قرنة شهوان كنيسةً بإسم الرسولين بطرس وبولس في أواخر القرن السابع عشر دفع معظم أكلافها الحاج مفرج غبريل، وكرّسها المطران الياس محاسب سنة ١٧٢٠. تجدّدت باتّفاق وتبرّعات سكان القرية عمومًا بسعي المطران بطرس الزغبي نحو سنة ١٩٠٨. تجدّد بناء الكنيسة عام ١٩١٢ في عهد الخوري إلياس زعرور كاهن الرعية، فأتت برسمها الباريسي آية قي الجمال والإبداع. سنة ١٩٩٦، رُممت الكنيسة و رُسمت الزجاجيات. الكنيسة بناء نيوغوطيّ الطراز. The church of Sts. Peter and Paul - Cornet Chehwan The church was built in the late 17th century, and the greater part of its expenses were covered by Hajj Moufarrej Ghobril. It was consecrated by Bishop Elias Mhaseb in 1720. Through the initiative of Fr. Elias Zaarour and the locals, it was rebuilt in 1912 and reconsecrated by Bishop Boutros el Zoghby. The church was reconstructed in a Neo-Gothic style with Parisian-inspired decorations. In 1996, it was renovated and stained glass windows were added.

كنيسة مار مارون - جزّين
بنيت الكنيسة بسعي أهالي البلدة سنة ١٨٦٨ على أنقاض الكنيسة الأولى التي خَربَت بعد أحداث ١٨٦٠. هي كنيسةٌ كبيرةٌ مبنيّةٌ على النمط البازيليكيّ بثلاث أسواق، وعقدها يُعدّ الأعلى في كنائس جبل لبنان القديم. اللوحة من عمل الرسّام داوود القرم.

The church of St Maroun - Jezzine
The church was built by the locals in 1868 to replace the old church that was devastated in the war of 1860. It is a big church with a basilical design and the highest vault in XIXth century Mount Lebanon. The painting of St Maroun is the work of Dawoud el Qorm.

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٨٧٢ بعناية الخوري جرجس خليفة. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ مُصالب بحنية نصف دائريّة. رُمّم البناء أواخر القرن العشرين.

The church of St John the Baptist - Mcheitieh

The church was built in 1872 with the initiative of Fr. Gerges Khalifeh. The structure consists of a crossed vault with a semi circular apse. The church was restored at the end of the XXth century.

الكنيسة الحاليّة مبنيّة في موضعٍ رومانيّ، بُني مكانه كنيسةً يعقوبيّة في القرون الوسطى. سنة ١٧٤١ إكتُشِفَت في الموقع أيقونةً للعذراء مريم. بُنيت في الموقع الكنيسة الحاليّة بشكل عقدٍ سريريّ وحنية نصف دائريّة. سنة ١٩٠٤ جلب الرهبان اليسوعيّون تمثالاً لعذراء بونتمان الفرنسيّة مازال بقلب الكنيسة. تشتهر هذه الكنيسة بحدوث العديد من المعجزات والكرامات بشفاعة العذراء مريم، وهي محجّ مريميّ كبير.

The miraculous church of our Lady of Bechouat - Bechouat

The first church was built on a roman site, it was a medieval Jacobite church. In 1741 a marian icon was discovered in this site. The current church was built on the site, consisting of a single crib vault and a semi circular apse. In 1904 the jesuits on a mission in the region brought to the village a replica of the French marian statue of Pontmain that is still enshrined in the church. The church is famous for being a pilgrimage site with many miracles attributed to the intercession of the Blessed Virgin.
