كنيسة مار الياس الحيّ - قرطبابُنيت الكنيسة الأولى منتصف القرن السادس عشر ورُمّمت سنة ١٥٥٦، وأعيد البناء سنة ١٨٤٦. أمّا البناء بشكله الحاليّ فيعود إلى سنة ١٩٠٣. وهي كنيسة بازيليكيّة بثلاثة أسواق وثلاث مذابح. تحوي الكنيسة مجموعة من اللوحات لكنعان ديب وداوود القرم، كما ومجموعة من الزجاجيّات. واجهة الكنيسة مشغولة بالحجر المقصوب مزيّنة بجرسيّة وساعة طنّانة.The Church of St Elijah the prophet - QartabaThe first church was built in the middle of the XVIth century and restored in 1556, it was rebuilt twice in 1846 and 1903. The church is built according to a basilical plan with three naves and three altars. The church holds many XIXth century paintings by Kanan Dib and Daoud el Qorm. The church is decorated by stained glass windows. The exterior of the church is decorated with a bell tower with a clock.

سنة ١٨٣٣ بنى الرهبان اليسوعيّون الدير على انقاض محبسة للأنطونيّين، وجلبوا أيقونة سيدة النجاة بعد سنة وهي رسم ساسو فيراتو. في هذه الكنيسة بدأت الأخويات المريميّة الاحتفال بالشهر المريمي سنة ١٨٣٧. سنة ١٨٥٦ كان بناء الكنيسة الكبيرة، التي كان مقرّرًا أن تكون على اسم مار يوحنا فرنسيس رجيس، فما برح الشعب يرتل ترنيمةً مريميّة فجاءت هذه الحادثة كرسالة دفعت لتكريس الكنيسة على اسم السيدة. حمت السيدة اهالي بكفيا من مجازر سنة ١٨٦٠ وداء الهواء الأصفر سنة ١٨٦٧، واليها تنسب العديد من المعجزات. سنة ١٨٧٣ أُسّست فيها جمعية راهبات القلبين الأقدسين. كذلك بزغت فيها دعوة القديسة رفقا، بطرسية الريّس التي كانت ابنة الأب كليم الجميّل اليسوعيّ، وسمعت في هذه الكنيسة نداء "بتترهبي" الذي دفعها لدخول الحياة الرهبانية في ٩شباط ١٨٥٥ في هذا الدير.

The Jesuit order started the mission in Bikfaya in 1833 building the monastery over an old Antonine hermitage, and brought an icon of Our Lady painted by Sasso Ferrato the very next year. In this church the Marian confraternities began celebrating the month of Mary in 1838. The church was built in 1856, during the consecration the church was planned to be dedicated to St John Francis Regis, yet the people began singing a Marian hymn, the superiors read that as a sign and dedicated the church to Our Lady. The Miraculous Virgin protected the villagers from the massacres of 1860, and the cholera pandemic in 1867, and she is known for her miraculous interventions. The congregation of The Blessed Hearts was inaugurated In this church in 1873. And in it the young St Rafqa, Boutrsye el Rayes, who was the spiritual daughter of the jesuit Fr. Kalim el Gemayel, heard the calling of The Madona telling her “you will become a nun”, which lead her to enter the monastic life on the 9th of march 1855.

بناها الشيخ فخر بن عبد الملك بن نوفل بن نادر الخازن ١٧٨٣، جُدّدت على يد أحفاد المؤسّس. هي كنيسة صغيرة ووقفيّة ذريّة لآل الخازن. اللوحة التصويريّة من عمل كنعان ديب الدلبتاويّ.

The church of St Anthony of Padua - Ballouneh

The church was built by Sheikh Fakher son of Abdul Malek Al Khazen, in 1783. It was renewed many times by his descendants. The small church is a private familial chapel. The painting is the work of Kanaan Dib of Dlebta.

كابيلا سيّدة الآلام - بزمّار

في القرن السادس عشر زار البطريرك ارزيفيان روما والتقى البابا بنديكتوس الرابع عشر، وأهداه أحد الكرادلة لوحة لسيّدة الآلام، منسوبة لمدرسة رافاييل تعود لرافاييل سانزيو أو الى غيراريو بار بيري. في رحلة العودة تعرّضت السفينة لخطر الغرق فرُميت اللوحة في البحر ووُجدت تطفو على المياه بشكلٍ عجائبيّ. بعد هذه الحادثة وُضعت اللوحة في كنيسة الدّير فوق العرش البطريركيّ.
عام ١٨٠٢ ضربت الصاعقة الكنيسة، وسقطت على العرش البطريركيّ حيث كانت صورة العذراء، من دون الحاق الضرر بالعرش، ولا باللوحة، فبُنيت على إثر المعجزة كابيلا صغيرة ملاصقة للدّير وهي مزار للمؤمنين طالبين نِعم سيّدة الآلام. زارها قداسة البابا بنديكتوس السادس عشر سنة ٢٠١٢.

The chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows - Bzommar

In the XVIth century, the Armenian Patriarch Arzivian visited Rome and met pope Benedict XIV. He was gifted an icon of our Lady of Sorrows from an Italian cardinal. The painting is from Raphael’s school and is attributed to Raphael Sanzio or Gerario Parperi. On the way back the ship was in danger of shipwreck, and the painting was thrown in the sea with other furniture. It was rediscovered miraculously floating several days later. After the incident it was put over the patriarchal chair in the main church of Bzommar.
In 1802 a lighting bolt hit the throne and the painting fell down, yet even the glass that was on it was miraculously preserved. A chapel adjacent to the monastery was erected to enshrine the miraculous icon. The chapel was visited by pope Benedict XVI in 2012.
