كنيسة مار الياس الحيّ - قرطبابُنيت الكنيسة الأولى منتصف القرن السادس عشر ورُمّمت سنة ١٥٥٦، وأعيد البناء سنة ١٨٤٦. أمّا البناء بشكله الحاليّ فيعود إلى سنة ١٩٠٣. وهي كنيسة بازيليكيّة بثلاثة أسواق وثلاث مذابح. تحوي الكنيسة مجموعة من اللوحات لكنعان ديب وداوود القرم، كما ومجموعة من الزجاجيّات. واجهة الكنيسة مشغولة بالحجر المقصوب مزيّنة بجرسيّة وساعة طنّانة.The Church of St Elijah the prophet - QartabaThe first church was built in the middle of the XVIth century and restored in 1556, it was rebuilt twice in 1846 and 1903. The church is built according to a basilical plan with three naves and three altars. The church holds many XIXth century paintings by Kanan Dib and Daoud el Qorm. The church is decorated by stained glass windows. The exterior of the church is decorated with a bell tower with a clock.

كنيسة مار جرجس - حاصبيّا

بُنبيت الكنيسة الأولى أوائل القرن التاسع عشر، وأُعيد بناء الحاليّة سنة ١٩١٠. الكنيسة كناية عن عقدٍ مُصالبٍ ينتهي بحنية نصف دائريّة. مذبح الكنيسة من الحجر الأصفر مبنيّ سنة ١٩١٢. بعد الحرب الأهليّة اللبنانيّة نزح القسم الأكبر من مسيحيّي البلدة فأصبحت الكنيسة شبه مهجورة. زارها غبطة البطريرك مار بشارة بطرس الراعي صيف سنة ٢٠١١.

The church of St George - Hasbaya

The first church was built in the early XIXth century, and rebuilt in 1910. The structure consists of a crossed vault ending with a semi circular apse. The altar is made of a local yellow limestone in 1912. After the civil war the town’s maronite population left in great numbers and the church became partially abandoned. The Patriarch Bechara el Rai visited the church in the summer of 2011.

هي كنيسةٌ مُزدوجةٌ تعود لأواخر القرون الوسطى مبنيّة على ضفاف نهر الجوز. مذبحها الأوّل مُكرّس للسيّدة (والمُرجّح أنّه الأقدم) والثاني لمار أنطونيوس الكبير. هي كنيسة مزار ومحجّ لأبناء المنطقة.

A double late medieval church built on the banks of Al Jawz river. Her first altar is consecrated to the Madonna (and is presumed to be the older part) and the second for St Anthony the great. The church is a local shrine and a pilgrimage site

كنيسة مار سمعان العاموديّ - العاقورة

في أعالي العاقورة طريق شقّها الفينيقيّون ورمّمها الرومان، بدليل كتابة لاتينيّة بقرب الكنيسة. ويفيد المؤرّخون أن دوميسيانوس قيصر الامبراطور الرومانيّ مرّ في بلدة العاقورة سنة ٨٢ بعد المسيح ووسّع الطريق شرقيّ البلدة، كما تشير الكتابة: IMP DOMITIANIA, S.V.T. حين نزح الموارنة في القرن السابع إلى البلدة، حوّلوا البناء الرومانيّ بقرب الشير إلى مزار لمار سمعان العاموديّ لتأثرهم بمار سمعان في سوريا. رُمّمت الكنيسة وأخذت شكلها الحاليّ بداية القرن العشرين.

St Simon the Stylite church - Aqoura

In the mountains east of Aqoura, the Phoenicians built a road that was enlarged by the Romans. Empror Domician passed by this road during his visit to Aqoura in 82 AD, and left a latin inscription near the church that says: IMP DOMITIANIA SVT. When the Maronites came to Aqoura in the VIIth century they converted the old roman building to a shrine church dedicated to St Simon the Stylite since they were influenced by the Stylites of Syria. The church took its final shape after restoration works in the early XXth century.
