كنيسة مار الياس الحيّ - قرطبابُنيت الكنيسة الأولى منتصف القرن السادس عشر ورُمّمت سنة ١٥٥٦، وأعيد البناء سنة ١٨٤٦. أمّا البناء بشكله الحاليّ فيعود إلى سنة ١٩٠٣. وهي كنيسة بازيليكيّة بثلاثة أسواق وثلاث مذابح. تحوي الكنيسة مجموعة من اللوحات لكنعان ديب وداوود القرم، كما ومجموعة من الزجاجيّات. واجهة الكنيسة مشغولة بالحجر المقصوب مزيّنة بجرسيّة وساعة طنّانة.The Church of St Elijah the prophet - QartabaThe first church was built in the middle of the XVIth century and restored in 1556, it was rebuilt twice in 1846 and 1903. The church is built according to a basilical plan with three naves and three altars. The church holds many XIXth century paintings by Kanan Dib and Daoud el Qorm. The church is decorated by stained glass windows. The exterior of the church is decorated with a bell tower with a clock.

كنيسة مار جرجس - بسكنتا

بنيت الكنيسة الحاليّة سنة ١٧٦٣ على أنقاض برجٍ صليبيّ. تتألف الكنيسة من صحنٍ كبير ينتهي بالحنية والمذبح، وعلى جهة الجنوب صحن آخر أعلى من مستوى الكنيسة ينتهي بمذبح مكرّس للقدّيسة تقلا. تحوي الكنيسة أيقونة مارونيّة للسيّدة تعود للقرن السابع عشر، أمّا لوحة مار جرجس فهي غربيّة الصنع.

The church of St George - Baskinta

The current church was built in 1763, over an old crusader’s tower. The church consists of a great nave ending with the apse and the altar. A smaller nave on the southern side is higher than the church ending with a small altar dedicated to St Thecla. The church holds a XVIIth century Maronite icon of the Madona, and a European painting of St George.

كنيسة مار يوحنّا المعمدان - كفركخلي عمشيت

بُنيت كنيسة أولى في الموضع سنة ١٧٥٠ على اسم مار روحانا. أواخر القرن التاسع عشر وُسِّعت على شكل عقدٍ مُصالبٍ وكُرّست على اسم مار يوحنّا المعمدان لتُصبح كنيسةً رعائيّة. تضمّ الكنيسة ثلاث لوحات محليّة الصنع: عماد المسيح، مار روحانا ومار يوسف.

The first church was built in 1750 and dedicated to St Rouhana. The current large crossed vaulted structure was built in the late XIXth century and dedicated to St John the Baptist as a parochial church. The church holds three locally made paintings: The Theophany, St Rouhana, St Joseph.

دير مار ضومط للآباء الكرمليّين - القبيات

بذأت زسالة الآباء الكرمليّين في القبيّات أوائل القرن التاسع عشر. سنة ١٨٣٥، بدؤا بناء ديرهم، بعد ان أوقف لهم الارض جبّور سيف حبيش. كان في تلك الأرض آثار كنيسةِ لمار ضومط، والعديد من الآثار التي بيعت لبناء الكنيسة الجديدة. بّنيت الكنيسة بشكلها الحاليّ سنة ١٨٥٢، وجدّدت على الطراز النبو غوطي سنة ١٩١٤. لعب الدّير دورًا هامًا في تاريخ البلدة خصوصًا أنّه ضمّ مدرسةً لتعليم الأحداث.

The monastery of St Doumit of the Carmelite fathers - Kobayyat

The Carmelite mission in the region of Kobayyat began in the dawn of the XIXth century. In 1935 Jabbour Seif Hobeich donated a piece of land to build a monastery. In this land where a ruined church dedicated to St Doumit and lots of ancient artifacts that where sold to museums to build the monastery. In 1852 the current church was built, and it 1914 it was remodeled with a neo gothic style. The monastery played an important role in the community”s history specially on the educational level with the famous Carmelite school.
