كنيسة مار الياس الحيّ - قرطبابُنيت الكنيسة الأولى منتصف القرن السادس عشر ورُمّمت سنة ١٥٥٦، وأعيد البناء سنة ١٨٤٦. أمّا البناء بشكله الحاليّ فيعود إلى سنة ١٩٠٣. وهي كنيسة بازيليكيّة بثلاثة أسواق وثلاث مذابح. تحوي الكنيسة مجموعة من اللوحات لكنعان ديب وداوود القرم، كما ومجموعة من الزجاجيّات. واجهة الكنيسة مشغولة بالحجر المقصوب مزيّنة بجرسيّة وساعة طنّانة.The Church of St Elijah the prophet - QartabaThe first church was built in the middle of the XVIth century and restored in 1556, it was rebuilt twice in 1846 and 1903. The church is built according to a basilical plan with three naves and three altars. The church holds many XIXth century paintings by Kanan Dib and Daoud el Qorm. The church is decorated by stained glass windows. The exterior of the church is decorated with a bell tower with a clock.

كنيسة السيّدة الكبرى - بيت شباب

الكنيسة الحاليّة مبنيّة على أنقاض كنيستين: الأولى مجهولة تاريخ البناء وكانت صغيرة واطئة بنيت قرب مصب الينبوع وكانت قائمة في القرن السادس عشر، الثانية وكانت تُعرف بسيّدة الجوزة، بدأ بناؤها سنة ١٧٠٣ في مكانها الحاليّ. كرّسها في ١٠ أيّار سنة ١٧١٦ البطريرك يعقوب عوّاد، جلب لوحاتها من روما الخورأسقف يوسف السمعاني. سنة ١٩٠٣ بوشر بناء الكنيسة الحاليّة، وهي بازيليكيّة الطراز بثلاث أسواق وعقدٍ بغداديّ، تحوي خمس مذابح رخاميّة. كرّسها سنة ١٩٤٠ الخورأسقف يوسف الحايك. رمّمت الكنيسة عدّة مرّات. وهي أكبر كنيسة في بيت شباب تشتهر بأبراج أجراسها.

The church of our Lady the Major - Beit Shabab

The current church was built over two older churches. The first one was built near the village’s water fountain, its history is unknown, yet it was in use during the XVIth century. The second one was in the current place, it was known as our Lady of the Walnut tree. Construction began in 1703 and it was consecrated by Patriarch Yaaqoub Awad on the 10th of May 1716. The paintings of the church were brought from Rome by Mgr Youssef el Semaani. The current church was built in 1903, it is a basilical structure with three naves and five marble altars. It was consecrated in 1940 by Mgr Youssef el Hayek. The church underwent many restorations, it is famous for the three bell towers on its facade

كنيسة سيّدة الحارة - زغرتا

في البدء كان البناءُ جزءًا من بيتٍ كبيرٍ لوقف زغرتا، استعمله الأهالي مستودعًا لأدوات البناء عندما حاول الزغرتاويّون بناء كاتدرائيّة سنة ١٨٩٩ في المكان القائمة فيه الآن كنيسة مار يوحنّا المعمدان. ولمّا لم تتيسر الأموال لإتمام البناء، طلبت السيّدة آسة أرملة سليم بك كرم من الخوري سعاده حنا ديب سعاده أن يُستعمل هذا البيت معبدًا على اسم سيّدة الحارة، بعد الحصول على إذنٍ من البطريركيّة المارونيّة. رُممّت هذه الكنيسة مرارًا ووُسّعت وأُضيفت لها قبّة جرس. أُهملت الكنيسة بعد بناء كنيسة مار يوحنّا المعمدان المحاذية لها. أُعيد تجديدها سنة ٢٠٠٠.

The church of our Lady of Hara - Zgharta

The building was originally a tool basement for a house owned by the parish of Zgharta. In 1899 after the failing to build a cathedral nearby due to the lack of funds, a local lady named Assa, who is the widow of Selim Bey Karam asked Fr. Saade Hanna Dib Saade to convert the structure into a church dedicated to the Virgin Mary after the approval of the Maronite Patriarch. The church was renewed many times and a bell tower was added. However, after the construction of St John’s church nearby it fell into disuse. It was finally renewed in the year 2000.

كنيسة مار يوسف - الفريكة

بنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٨٧٦ وكانت وقفًا خاصًا لآل الهاشم. في ٢٦ تشرين الثاني سنة ١٩٠٠ إشتراها الأهالي بمصادقة المطران نعمة الله سلوان فأصبحت كنيسةً رعائيّة. الكنيسة كناية عن عقدٍ مصالبٍ ينتهي بحنية. لوحة مار يوسف تعود لسنة ١٩٢٨.

The church of St Joseph - El Fraykeh

The church was built in 1876 as a private chapel for the Al Hashem family. On the 26th of November 1900, the locals bought the church, and it was created a parish with the approbation of Mgr. Nemtallah Selwan Bishop of Cyprus. The church is a cross vaulted structure ending with a nave. The painting of St Joseph dates back to 1928.
