دير سيّدة ميفوق - ميفوقهو من الأديار القديمة في الكنيسة المارونيَّة،بناه المرَدَةَ سنة ٨٥٠. إستولى عليه الحماديُّون حوالي سنة ١١٢١، مدَّةً من الزمن، فانتقل رهبانُه في أثنائها إلى دير سيِّدة إيليج. تَسَلَّمت الرهبانيَّةُ اللبنانيّة المارونيّة ديرَ ميفوق سنة ١٧٦٦، من الأمير يوسف الشهابيّ. انعقد في هذا الدير، مجمعًا إقليميًّا للكنيسة المارونيَّة، برئاسة القاصد الرسولي الأب بطرس دي مورينا و المطران ميخائيل الخازن سنة ١٧٨٠. سنة ١٨٥٠، أمضى فيه مار شربل سنة ابتداءٍ واحدة. أنشأت الرهبانيَّة معهدًا في الدير، سنة ١٩٢٢. وَمِن محفوظات دير سيِّدة – ميفوق، صورة سيِّدة إيليج الأثريَّة التي أُعيد ترميمُها بين سنتَي ١٩٨٢ ١٩٨٧. لعب الدّير دورًا على صُعُد التنشئة الرهبانيّة والوطنيّة دورًا بارزًا.The monastery of Our Lady of Mayfouq - MayfouqOne of the oldest Maronite monasteries built arround 850 by the Maradites. It was taken over by the Hamadi’s in 1121, and back then the monks moved to Ilige. The monastery was given to the Lebanese Maronite Order in 1766 by Prince Youssef Shehab. In 1780 a local Maronite council was held in the monastery presided by the papal delegate Fr Peter di Morina and bishop Mikael el Khazen. In 1850 St Charbel spent a year of his novitiate there. A school was founded by the order in 1922. The monastery holds the famous icon of our Lady of Ilige restored between 1982 and 1987. The monastery played a great national role and it was a major school of formation for the monks.

كنيسة سيّدة الغابة - بيت شباب

بنُيت الكنيسة الأولى في القرن السابع عشر، واعتنى بإعادة بنائها آل الحايك مرّتين سنة ١٧٧٢ و١٧٧٣. خُرّبت أثناء حملة إبراهيم باشا فأعاد ترميمها الأمير حيدر أبي اللمع سنة ١٨٤٠. أخذت شكلها الحاليّ سنة ١٩٠٠ ورُمّمت سنة ١٩٩٠. في الكنيسة عدّة لوحات أهمّها اللوحة القديمة التي تعود للقرن السادس عشر، كان قد رسم فوقها كنعان ديب لوحة أخرى لم تعد موجودة سنة ١٨٣٩ وقد جرّحها فارسٌ درزيّ في أحداث ١٨٦٠، وقد نُقلت عنها لوحة لحبيب سرور تعود لسنة ١٩١٩.
The church of Our Lady of the Forest - Beit Chabeb

The church was first built in the XVIIth century, then rebuilt by the Hayek family in 1726 and 1773. It was damaged during the campaign of Mehmet Ali Pasha and restored by Prince Haidar Abi Ll Lamah in 1840. It took its final shape in year 1900, and then restored 90 years later. The church holds many paintings the most important ones being the old XVIth century icon of the Madona, that was covered by another painting by Kanaan Dib drawn in year 1839 that is no longer present. This painting was attacked by a Druze knight in the war of 1860. Habib Srour drew a copy of it in 1919.

يعود بناء الكنيسة للقرن العاشر، تحتوي على مجموعة جدرانيّات تعود إلى القرون الوسطى. هي من أكثر الكنائس المحافظة على طابعها الأول هندسةً، وتُجسّد الجدرانيّات التي زيَّنتها منذ القرن الثالث عشر، موضوعاتٍ من العهدين القديم والجديد.
تُجسّد الجدرانية قصَّة الخلاص المقسومة الى جزءين: الأوّل إلى الناحية اليمنى يُمثّل يدَي الربّ وموسى يتلقّى منهما الوصايا العشر، والى الناحية اليسرى ذبيحة النبي إبراهيم، وما بين الإثنين رسمٌ لعمانوئيل وسط القمر والشمس. والثاني الى اليمين يمثّل بِشارة العذراء، يليه رسم للنبي دانيال، ومار إسطفان. على الحائط الشماليّ صورة مار تاودروس، وعلى الحائط الجنوبيّ صورة القديس جاورجيوس. في الوسط ايقونة الشفاعة مع الملائكة وعلى مستوى المذبح صف الرسل الإثنا عشر.


The church was built during the tenth century, and contains a collection of medieval Syriac frescoes. It is one of the most preserved churches architecturally. The church was covered with frescos dating back to the 13th century and depicting themes from the Old and the New Testament. The main fresco represents on the right side the hand of God giving Moses the ten commandments, on the left the sacrifice of Abraham. In the middle is Emmanuel between the sun and the moon. The second part depicts the Annunciation, prophet Daniel, and Stephen the Protomartyr. On the northern wall one can find St Theodorus, and St George on the southern. In the main apse is the Deisis with angels, below it the row of the twelve apostles

أسست الكنيسة الرعائية سنة 1731 في عهد البطريرك يعقوب عواد.
الكنيسة صغيرة الحجم مبنية من عقد بسيط ينتهي بحنية. 
اللوحة رسم كنعان ديب الدلبتاوي وتعود لسنة ١٨٤٩.

The parish church was built in 1731 during the pontificate of patriarch Jacob Awad.
The church building is rather small with a crib vault ending with an apse. The Madona’s portrait is the work on Kanaan Dib from Dlebta dating back to 1849
