كنيسة سيّدة النجاة - كفرصغابابتدأ بناؤها سنة ١٨٩٠ وانتهى سنة ١٩١٢. تتميّز بجمال هندستها بحسب الطراز البازيليكيّ الأصيل، وبضخامتها وارتفاع قبّتها بما يقارب ٤٠ مترًا وجمال مذابحها الرخاميّة المصنوعة في إيطالية. صحنها مقسوم ثلاثة أقسام يفصل بين كلٍّ منها صفٌّ من ست ركائز ضخمة من كلّ جهة.The church of Our Lady of Deliverance - KfarsghabThe construction of the church began in 1890 and was completed in 1912. The church is a huge basilical structure with a 40 meter bell tower and a three aisle nave with six columns on each side. The church holds magnificent carrera marble altars from Italy.
كان البناء أساسًا جزءً تابعًا للقلعة العثمانيّة القريبة منه، إشتراه أهل البلدة وحوّلوه إلى كنيسةٍ كرّسها المطران بولس بصبوص سنة ١٩١١. البناء كناية عن سوقٍ واحد مسقوفٍ بالقرميد. رُمّمت سنة ٢٠٠٥. تحوي الكنيسة لوحةً للعذراء محليّة الصنع تعرّضت للضرب بالرصاص خلال الحرب العالميّة الأولى.
The old church of Our Lady - Sarba el Nabatieh
The building was originally a part of the nearby Ottoman castle, the villagers bought it and converted it into a church that was consecrated by Bishop Boulos Basbous in 1911. The church consists of a single nave with a brick roof, it was renovated in 2005. In the church is displayed a local painting of the Madonna that holds marks of Ottoman bullets from World War I.
الكنيسة الأولى مجهولة تاريخ البناء. في القرن الثامن عشر أعاد أهالي بناء كنيستهم القديمة التي كانت بخطر الإندثار وكانت هذه الكنيسة رعائيّة لكلّ القرى المجاورة. سنة ١٨٦٢ قرّر أهالي عين الخرّوبة توسيع الكنيسة لتُصبح رعيّتهم. لم يتمكّن أهل الرعيّة من إنهاء مشروعهم، إلى أن حدثت هذه الأعجوبة: يوم ذهب الشيخ ضاهر الجميّل إلى عكّار، فخطفه الحمّاديّين و سرقوه ورموه في الجرود ليموت، فنذر للعذراء لتُعينه، فنجّتهُ من الموت. عاد الأخير إلى بلدته وأكمل بناء العقد المُصالب فكان النجاز منه سنة ١٨٨٢ وكرّس الكنيسة المطران نعمة الله سلوان سنة ١٨٩٢. تضمّ الكنيسة مذبحًا مرمريًّا زهريًّا، كذلك أيقونة أمّ النور وهي أيقونة مارونيّة للراهب بطرس القبرصيّ تعود لسنة ١٧٢٦، ولوحةً للعذراء من عمل داوود القرم.
The church of Our Lady of Perpetual Help - Aïn el Kharroubeh
The first church built on the site has an unknown history, records show that it was renovated in the XVIIIth century and became the parochial church for all the surrounding villages. In 1862 the people of Aïn el Kharroubeh decided to rebuild the church, yet many problems occurred leaving an unfinished structure. In the same year Sheikh Daher el Gemayel went to Akkar and was kidnapped by the Hammadis who stole him and left him stranded in the mountains to die. He then asked the Blessed Virgin to help him, and she miraculously saved him. He then went back to his village and completed the crossed vault in 1892. The church was reconsecrated by Mgr. Nematullah Selwan in 1892. The church’s altar is made with a beautiful pink marble stone. It holds a maronite icon called The Mother of Light by Fr. Boutros the Cypriot dating back to 1726, and a painting by Dawoud el Qorm.
يعود بنا هذه الكنيسة إلى القرون الوسطى وتتألف من كنيستين: الكنيسة القديمة جدرانها مكسوة بالجداريات. هي من النوادر في العمارة الكنيسة لأن فيها حنيتان يتوسطهم رسم المصلوب. مواضيع الجداريات: الشفاعة، العذراء على العرش محاطة بمار بطرس وبولس، ذبيحة النبي ابراهيم، آثار لجدرانيات أخرى باتت مندثرة. اما الكنيسة الثانية فهي أحدث عهداً ملاصقة للأولى، مبنية على النمط البازيليكي بثلاث اسواق، وامامها رواق بالحجر المعقود. بقيت الكنيسة مستخدمة الى القرن التاسع عشر حين نزح آخر موارنة البلدة. ومنذ عام ٢٠١٢ انطلق مشروع ترميم الكنيسة.
This church is built in the medieval ages, and is composed of two parts: The old church has walls filled with frescoes. It is one of the very rare churches in which you can see the crucified drawn between two naves. The drawings are as follows: The Deisis, Mary the throne of wisdom, surrounded by Saints Peter and Paul, Abraham's sacrifice, in addition to different frescoes that are damaged and can hardly be seen now. The second church is just next to the first, but built in a later era, in a basilical form with three aisles. The church was still in use by the maronite community until the 19th century. Since 2012 a project to renew the church was launched.
