كنيسةٌ صغيرةٌ مبنيّةٌ على ضفاف مجرى نهر الجوز، تابعةّ لدير كفتون. بُنيت في القرن العاشر وبقيت مُهمَلةً لقرون، مُهدَّدةً بالانهيار. بدأت عمليّة الترميم سنة ٢٠٠٤ واكتُشفت خلالها جداريّات فريدة من القرن الثاني عشر، وهي الشفاعة والبشارة والرسل وأربعة فرسان قدّيسين: سركيس وباخوس جرجس وتاودوروس. الفريد في الكنيسة الكتابة على الجداريّات باللغات: السريانيّة واليونانيّة والعربيّة للمرّة الأولى في كنيسة مسيحيّة من القرون الوسطى.A small church on the riverbank. It is a dependency of Kaftoun’s monastery. The church was built in the Xth century, yet it was in ruins for a long time. Restorations started in 2004 and uncovered unique byzantine frescoes: The Deisis, the Annunciation, the Apostles, and the Four Knights: Sts George, Sergius, Bacchus, Theodore. The fact that makes the frescoes unique is the trilingual writing on them: Syriac, Greek and for the first time in a medieval church Arabic.

شيّدت الكنيسة على أنقاض كنيسةٍ قديمةٍ نهاية القرن التاسع عشر. سعى في إتمامها آل عقل نظرًا لقرب دارتهم من الكنيسة، وكان ذلك لإستقبال البطريرك الياس الحويّك ابن حلتا البترونيّة ليقيم القدّاس فيها أثناء زياراته للمدينة. رممّت على مراحل خلال القرن العشرين.

The Church of Our Lady of the Saha - Batroun

The sponsors of the construction project were the Akl family since their estate was nearby and they needed a chapel for Patriarch Elias El Howayek from Helta to say mass during his visits to the city. سنة ١٨٨١ إشترى الخواجة بطرس نصر قطعة أرضٍ في محلّة الدِقرِين وأنهى بناء الكنيسة الصغيرة سنة ١٨٩٨، لتكرَّس الكنيسة على إسم مار مارون، وهي الوحيدة في منطقة جونيه التي تحمل شفاعته. أوقف لوحة مار مارون المكاري بطرس حاويلا على إثر معجزة شفاء إبنه، وهي من عمل داوود القرم سنة ١٩٠٩. وُسّعت الكنيسة سنة ٢٠١١، وهي منذ تأسيسها رعيّة ناشطة بحركاتها الرسوليّة وأخويّاتها.

The church of St Maroun - Haret Sakhr
In 1881 Boutros Nasr bought a parcel of land to build a small parish church that was completed in 1898 and dedicated to St Maroun. It is the only one that bares His name in the region of Jounieh. In 1909 after the miraculous healing of his son, the painting of St Maroun, done by Dawoud el Qorm, was donated to the church by Boutros Hawila. The church was expanded in 2011. Since its beginning up until now, the parish is vibrant with its apostolic groups and confraternities.

The Fountain of the Forty Martyrs - Yammouneh"

The fountain is a natural water source. Near the source, the Romans built some structures that were later converted into a church and a monastery during the Byzantine era. The ruins of the buildings are still visible, and the place has retained its dedication to the forty martyrs of Sebastopolis.
