كنيسة مار دانيال - حدث الجبّةبعد تحوّلهم الى المسيحيّة حوّل أهالي الحدث معبدهم إلى كنيسةٍ على اسم مار الياس، ما زالت قائمة في القسم الجنوبيّ. سنة ١١١٠ باشرت بناء كنيسة مار دانيال صالومي إبنة الخوري باسيل من بشرّي. تعرّض البناء للخراب على يد المماليك سنة ١٢٨٣. وأخذ البناء شكله الحاليّ في زمن حبريّة البطريرك شمعون الحدثيّ. رُمّم البناء أواخر القرن العشرين. الكنيسة بازيليكيّة الطراز بعقد مصالب وثلاث حنايا مع رواق خارجيّ معقود. تحوي الكنيسة ثلاث لوحات لداوود القرم تعود للقرن التاسع عشر.The church of St Daniel - Hadath el JubbaAfter the conversion of the people of Hadath el Jubba, they converted an old pagan shrine to a church dedicated to St Elijah the prophet. In 1110 Salome the daughter of the priest Basil of Bsharre began building a new church dedicated to Daniel the prophet. The church was destroyed by the Mamluks in 1283. It then took its final shape during the pontificate of Patriarch Chamoun el Hadathy, and was renovated in the late XXth century. The church consists of a basilical plan with three naves with arched vaults and three apses, with an external ambulatory. It holds three paintings by Dawoud el Qor

البطريركيّة القديمة مار يوحنّا مارون - الديمان

بداية القرن التاسع عشر، قرّر البطاركة الانتقال من وادي قنوبين إلى قرية الديمان. وفي العام ١٨١٩، بنى البطريرك يوحنا الحلو منزلاً ليكون مقرّ إقامته. سنة ١٨٣٣، بدأ البطريرك يوسف حبيش بناء الدير والكنيسة، وتمّ في هذا الدير البطريركيّ انتخاب البطريرك يوسف راجي الخازن عام ١٨٤٥، ورفع البطريرك بولس مسعد الخوري يوحنا الحاج إلى الرتبة الأسقفية في ١٥ آب ١٨٦١، ليخلفه كبطريرك سنة ١٨٩٠. نهاية القرن التاسع عشر انتهت أعمال بناء الدير البطريركيّ الكبير في الديمان، وأصبح هذا البناء كنيسةً رعائيّة. ومن أبرز الكنوز الموجودة في الكنيسة كأس القدّاس الذي أهداه البابا لاون الثاني عشر إلى البطريرك حبيش، ومكتبة المخطوطات، وبعض الأيقونات المحليّة.

The Old Patriarchate of Saint John Maron - Dimane

At the start of the XIXth century, the patriarchs decided to relocate from Wadi Qannoubin to the village of Diman. In 1819, Patriarch John Al Helou constructed a residence for himself, and in 1833, Patriarch Youssef Hobeish began building a monastery and church. It was at this patriarchal monastery that Patriarch Youssef Raji Al Khazen was elected in 1845. Later on, on August 15, 1861, Patriarch Boulos Massad ordained Fr. Youhanna Al Hajj to the episcopal rank, and he succeeded him as patriarch in 1890. At the end of the XIXth century, the construction of the great patriarchal monastery in Diman was finished, and the building became a parish church. One of the most notable treasures of the church is a chalice gifted to Patriarch Hobeish by Pope Leo XII, as well as the manuscript library and local icons.

هي كنيسة صغيرة في طرف البلدة. بُنيت سنة ١٩١٢ ورُمّمت في تسعينيّات القرن العشرين. الكنيسة بسوق واحد مسقوف. لوحة مار بطرس وبولس من عمل جوزيف زيادة تعود لعام ١٩٥٨.

The church of Sts Peter and Paul - Lehfed
The church is a small chapel on the outskirts of the village. The construction began in 1912, and was restored in the nineties. The church consists of a single roofed nave. The painting of Sts Peter and Paul is made by Joseph Ziade dates back to 1958.

كنيسة مار يوسف - عشقوت

كنيسة مار يوسف في محلّة جبل عشقوت، تم تشييدها سنة ١٩٢٦. الكنيسة وقف لآل موسى بنوها لبُعد مساكنهم عن البلدة. الكنيسة صغيرة عبارة عن عقدٍ مصالبٍ، إختبأ فيها الفراريّة خلال الحرب العالميّة الثانية.

The Church of St. Joseph - Ashqout

The Church of St. Joseph is located in the mountains surrounding Ashqout and was built in 1926 as a private chapel for the Moussa family. They built it because their homes were far away from the village center. The church is a small crossed vault and housed fleeing outlaws during World War II.
