كنيسة مار دانيال - حدث الجبّةبعد تحوّلهم الى المسيحيّة حوّل أهالي الحدث معبدهم إلى كنيسةٍ على اسم مار الياس، ما زالت قائمة في القسم الجنوبيّ. سنة ١١١٠ باشرت بناء كنيسة مار دانيال صالومي إبنة الخوري باسيل من بشرّي. تعرّض البناء للخراب على يد المماليك سنة ١٢٨٣. وأخذ البناء شكله الحاليّ في زمن حبريّة البطريرك شمعون الحدثيّ. رُمّم البناء أواخر القرن العشرين. الكنيسة بازيليكيّة الطراز بعقد مصالب وثلاث حنايا مع رواق خارجيّ معقود. تحوي الكنيسة ثلاث لوحات لداوود القرم تعود للقرن التاسع عشر.The church of St Daniel - Hadath el JubbaAfter the conversion of the people of Hadath el Jubba, they converted an old pagan shrine to a church dedicated to St Elijah the prophet. In 1110 Salome the daughter of the priest Basil of Bsharre began building a new church dedicated to Daniel the prophet. The church was destroyed by the Mamluks in 1283. It then took its final shape during the pontificate of Patriarch Chamoun el Hadathy, and was renovated in the late XXth century. The church consists of a basilical plan with three naves with arched vaults and three apses, with an external ambulatory. It holds three paintings by Dawoud el Qor

دير مار يوسف - بحرصاف

شيّدت الرهبانيّة الأنطونيّة المارونيّة دير مار يوسف في بلدة بحرصاف، سنة ١٨٥١. خلال الحرب العالميّة الأول إحتلّ الجيش العثمانيّ الدّير. فتوسل الأب المدبّر يوسف الحاج بطرس ونسيبه الأب انطون إلى القائد رضا باشا كي لا تُدنّس الكنيسة، فشطب القائد صورة مار يوسف بسيفه وأمر ذلك الطاغية، فنفيا إلى الأناضول. ومات هناك الأب يوسف من جرّاء معاملات قاسية ونجا رفيقه بأعجوبة. أُعيدت الحياة إلى الدّير بعد رحيل العثمانيّين سنة ١٩١٨، فرُمّم وأُعيد تكريس الكنيسة. رُمّم الدّير مجدّدًا مع بداية القرن الحاليّ، وهو مستمرّ برسالته الروحيّة والرهبانيّة.

The monastery of St Joseph - Bhorsaf

The monastery was built in the town of Bahersaf by the Maronite Antonine monks in 1851. During World War I, the Ottoman army occupied the monastery. Fr. superior Youssef El Hajj Boutros, and his cousin, Father Anton, pleaded with the commander, Reza Pasha, to prevent the desecration of the church. Due to their plea, the tyrant ordered their immediate exile to Anatolia. Father Youssef died there due to harsh treatment, but his companion miraculously survived. The monastery was revived after the departure of the Ottomans in 1918, and the church was repaired and rededicated. The monastery was renovated again at the beginning of this century and continues with its spiritual and monastic mission.

كنيسة سيّدة الدرّ - بشرّي
سيدة الدرّ أو الوريسة كان معبدًا فينيقيًّا تحوّل الى كنيسة في القرن الحادي عشر. بحسب الأب بطرس ضو "تحوّل هذا المعبد الى كنيسة، وكان يوجد فيه رسوم جدرانيّة من القرن الثاني عشر وتحتوي على أسماء القدّيسين باليونانيّة، مما يدلّ على أن الموارنة في وادي قاديشا كانوا حتى القرن الثالث عشر على اتصال بالحضارة البيزنطيّة". الكنيسة عبارة عن مغارة محفورة في الصخر ذات خوروسين، لعلّ جداريتها الأجمل هي الظهور الإلهيّ.

The church of Our Lady of the Milk - Bcharre

The church of Our Lady of the Milk or El Waryse is a Phoenician temple converted in the XIth century. According to the historian Fr. Boutros Daw: ”The shrine was converted into a fresco covered church in the XIIth century with the saints name written in greek, indicating that the Maronites in that era kept contact with the Byzantines”. The church consists of a man made cave with a double apse. The best kept fresco is that of the Epiphany over the altar.

كنيسة مار يوسف - وطى الجوز
بنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٩١٧ فوق كنيسةٍ أقدم عهدًا. رمّمت وأخذت شكلها الحاليّ سنة ١٩٧٥. لوحة مار يوسف من عمل كنعان ديب الدلبتاوي تعود لسنة ١٨٦٨. تتميّز الكنيسة بقبّة حجريّة بشكل طابيّة كاهن يعلوها صليب.

The church of St Joseph - Wata el Jawz
The church was built in 1917 over an older church, and took its final form in the restoration of 1975. The painting of St Joseph is made by Kanaan Dib in 1868. The bell tower is topped by a sculpture of a Tabye, the traditional maronite priestly hat, with a cross over it.
