كنيسة مار دانيال - حدث الجبّةبعد تحوّلهم الى المسيحيّة حوّل أهالي الحدث معبدهم إلى كنيسةٍ على اسم مار الياس، ما زالت قائمة في القسم الجنوبيّ. سنة ١١١٠ باشرت بناء كنيسة مار دانيال صالومي إبنة الخوري باسيل من بشرّي. تعرّض البناء للخراب على يد المماليك سنة ١٢٨٣. وأخذ البناء شكله الحاليّ في زمن حبريّة البطريرك شمعون الحدثيّ. رُمّم البناء أواخر القرن العشرين. الكنيسة بازيليكيّة الطراز بعقد مصالب وثلاث حنايا مع رواق خارجيّ معقود. تحوي الكنيسة ثلاث لوحات لداوود القرم تعود للقرن التاسع عشر.The church of St Daniel - Hadath el JubbaAfter the conversion of the people of Hadath el Jubba, they converted an old pagan shrine to a church dedicated to St Elijah the prophet. In 1110 Salome the daughter of the priest Basil of Bsharre began building a new church dedicated to Daniel the prophet. The church was destroyed by the Mamluks in 1283. It then took its final shape during the pontificate of Patriarch Chamoun el Hadathy, and was renovated in the late XXth century. The church consists of a basilical plan with three naves with arched vaults and three apses, with an external ambulatory. It holds three paintings by Dawoud el Qor

Built in 1660, the church played a great role in the history of the village, near it a school was built, and it was the main parish church before that of our Lady was built in the nineteenth century.
The church houses a collection of oil paintings dating back to the construction era: St George, an Immaculata, St Mamas, St Peter.
In the church’s sacristy are found the mortal remains of Fr. Gerges Srour 1688-1735, a holy priest with the title Al Qurbany, (the Eucharistic) because of his great devotion to the blessed sacrament and the great miracles that happened during elevation time in his Mass as attested by witnesses.


يعود البناء الى سنة ١٦٦٠. لعبت هذه الكنيسة دورًا هامًا في تاريخ البلدة اذ كانت الكنيسة الرعائية قبل بناء كنيسة السيذة. بقربها كانت تقوم مدرسة للأحداث. تحوي زيتيات تعود لفترة البناء: مار جرجس، السيدة، مار ماما، مار بطرس.
يرقد على رجاء القيامة في سكرستية الكنيسة رجل الله الخوري جرجس سرور ١٦٨٨-١٧٣٥، والمعروف بكراماته وعجائبه وعبادته للقربان الأقدس إذ كان وجه المسيح يظهر على القربانة عند الرفعة كما شهد معاصروه.

كنيسة مار إسطفانوس رئيس الشمامسة وأوّل الشهداء - بحديدات
هي بقايا لكنيسةٍ أثريّةٍ مكرّسة على اسم مار إسطفانوس، بُنيت على أنقاض رومانيّة أواسط القرن الثاني أو الثالث عشر. تتميّز بشكلها الدائريّ.

The ruins of St Stephen’s church in Bhdeidat belong to and old medieval church that dates back to the twelfth or thirteenth century. The church is built on top of roman ruins, and it is unique with its rotunda shape

دير راهبات العائلة المقدّسة المارونيّات - عبرين

سنة ١٨٩٦ غادرت الأم المؤسِّسة لراهبات العائلة المقدّسة روزالي مع راهباتها من مدرسة بطرس شحادة في جبيل إلى عبرين لتداعي البناء وحاجته للترميم. وشاءت العناية الإلهيّة ان تتدبّر الأموال بيد المطران (البطريرك المكرّم) الياس الحويّك، لشراء بيت ومزرعة واكد الشيخاني في عبرين وتحويلها إلى دير ومدرسة، مع كنيسة ذات زجاجيّات مميّزة، وقبوٍ معقودٍ تحتها، هو مرقد البطريرك الآن. والقبو مزيّن بجداريّات يوسف الحويّك. أصبح دير العائلة المقدّسة الدير الأمّ للجمعيّة وأصبحت الراهبات تُعرفن براهبات عبرين.

The Holy Family’s convent - Ibrin

1896 was a pivotal year for Mother Rosaly the new superior general of the new Maronite congregation of the Holy Family, as the nun moved from Boutros Shehade’s school in Jbeil to the farm estate of Waked el Shikhany in Ibrin. In his diaries Bishop Elias Howayek (later Venerable Patriarch) relates how the money for the purchase was due to the Divine Providence’s intercession. Bishop Howayek transformed with the nuns the estate into a convent with a school and a beautiful church with stained glass windows, and a crypt with Youssef el Howayek’s frescoes (the only Lebanese art deco style paintings). The crypt is also the resting place of Patriarch el Howayek. Since its construction, the convent became the mother house of the Holy Family’s nuns and they are widely known as the Nuns of Ibrin.
