كنيسة مار جرجس - القليعةهي كنيسة البلدة الرعائيّة. بُنيت سنة ١٩٠٠ بسعي الخوري عبدالله لاشين، وكرّسها المطران بطرس البستاني مطران صور وصيدا آنذاك. الكنيسة بازيايكيّة الطراز بثلاث أروقة، والعقد يجتمع بقبّة دائريّة مزيّنة بجداريّة المسيح الفادي محاطًا بالإنجيليّين الأربعة. اللوحة الأساسيّة من عمل داوود القرم. أمّا الكنيسة من الخارج فهي بالحجر المقصوب مزيّنة بلونين من الحجارة.The church of St George - QlayaaThe parochial church of the town, the church was built in 1900 with the efforts of Fr. Abdalla Lachin and dedicated by Mgr. Boutros el Boustany archbishop of Tyr and Sidon back then. The church follows a basilical floor plan with three naves, and a circular dome decorated with a fresco of Christ the Redeemer surrounded by the four evangelists. The main painting of St George is by Dawoud el Qorm. The facade of the church is a decorative alteration of two kinds of colored stones.

الكنيسة قديمة العهد، تاريخ بنائها مجهولٌ. تعرّضت للتخريب في أحداث سنة ١٨٦٠. رمّمت من بعدها. بعد الحرب العالميّة الأولى أخذت الكنيسة شكلها الحاليّ: نمط بازيليكيّ بعقدٍ مصالب وسوقٍ واحد بواجهة حجرٍ مقصوبٍ مزخرف. نضمّ الكنيسة ثلاث مذابح من المرمر تعود لسنة ١٩٣٠: السيّدة، مار يوسف ومار يوحنّا مارون. رمّمت الكنيسة سنة ٢٠٠٨. تضمّ الكنيسة مدفن موسى بك نموّر رئيس مجلس النوّاب الأسيق.

The church of our Lady of Perpetual Help - Maalaka Zahle

The church”s year of construction is unknown, it was sabotaged during the war of 1860. The church took it’s current form after World War I : a basilical plan with one nave and a grand ornate facade on the western side. The church holds three marble altars dedicated to the Assumption, St Joseph, St John Maroun. The church was restored in 2008, and it enshrines the tomb of the late lebanese speaker of the parliament Moussa Bey Nammour.

بنى الموارنة كنيستهم الأولى في معراب على أنقاض هيكل رومانيّ وثنيّ. خُرّبت هذه الكنيسة الأولى مع حملة المماليك على كسروان سنة ١٣٠٥. أعاد أبناء البلدة بناء الكنيسة على إسم ما باسيليوس وغريغوريوس، وأخذت شكلها الحاليّ سنة ١٨٨٥. في هذه الكنيسة يرقد على رجاء القيامة المطران بولس فؤاد نعيم تابت (١٩٢٩-٢٠٠٩) وهو أوّل سفير بابويّ مارونيّ لبنانيّ.


The first church was built by the Maronites over a roman pagan temple. The church was destroyed during the Mamluk’s campaign on Keserwan in 1305. After their return, the villagers reconstructed the church and it was consecrated to Sts Basil and Gregory. It took its final shape in 1885. The church is the final resting place of Bishop Paul Fouad Naim Tabet (1929-2009), the first Lebanese Maronite Papal nuncio

كنيسة سيّدة المزار - الحجة

بُنيت الكنيسة أواخر القرن الثامن عشر مع قدوم المسيحيّين إلى البلدة، وكانت كنيستهم الأساسيّة. تعرّضت للسلب خلال أحداث سنة ١٨٦٠. أُهملت الكنيسة بعد بناء كنيسة مار يوسف وسط البلدة، وأعيد ترميمها مؤخّرًا. الكنيسة مبنيّة بأسواقٍ ثلاث أفقيّة على نمط العليّة في البيت اللبنانيّ مسقوفة بالخشب وقد أُضيفت إليها قبّة صغيرة وقت الترميم.

The Church of Our Lady of Mzaar - El Hajje

The church is the original parochial church of the village, built during the late 18th century. It was sabotaged during the war of 1860 and remained abandoned after the construction of St. Joseph's Church in the village center. However, it has been recently restored. The structure of the church resembles that of a cenacle in a traditional Lebanese house, with three horizontal aisles. A dome was added to the structure during the restoration.
