كنيسة مار جرجس - القليعةهي كنيسة البلدة الرعائيّة. بُنيت سنة ١٩٠٠ بسعي الخوري عبدالله لاشين، وكرّسها المطران بطرس البستاني مطران صور وصيدا آنذاك. الكنيسة بازيايكيّة الطراز بثلاث أروقة، والعقد يجتمع بقبّة دائريّة مزيّنة بجداريّة المسيح الفادي محاطًا بالإنجيليّين الأربعة. اللوحة الأساسيّة من عمل داوود القرم. أمّا الكنيسة من الخارج فهي بالحجر المقصوب مزيّنة بلونين من الحجارة.The church of St George - QlayaaThe parochial church of the town, the church was built in 1900 with the efforts of Fr. Abdalla Lachin and dedicated by Mgr. Boutros el Boustany archbishop of Tyr and Sidon back then. The church follows a basilical floor plan with three naves, and a circular dome decorated with a fresco of Christ the Redeemer surrounded by the four evangelists. The main painting of St George is by Dawoud el Qorm. The facade of the church is a decorative alteration of two kinds of colored stones.

كانت بلدة كفر عقاب بلدة مهدّمة على يد المماليك في عام . ١٢٩٠ ولكن بعد قدوم بيت معلوف في عام ١٥٧٠ بدأت عمليات إعادة الترميم على أيديهم. كان أوّل ما رمّموه هي كنيسة صغيرة في أعلى البلدة وأطلقوا عليها اسم كنيسة سيدة الخرايب. في عام ١٦٦٠ وجدت عائلة معلوف أنّ عدد الناس ازداد لذلك قاموا ببناء كنيسة سيدة النياح. التي تتميّز بالطقس البيزنطي المعروف بـ المذبح الخاص به والأيقونات المميزة. تم تكبير هذه الكنيسة في عام ١٨٠٥ لتصبح كنيستين متلاصقتين وتحملان التصميم نفسه. في عام ١٦٦٦ ازداد عدد الناس أكثر فأكثر فاتفقوا على بناء كنيسة ثالثة تدعى كنيسة سيدة البشارة تحت شجرة معمّرة ضخمة. دامت مدة بناء الكنيسة من عام ١٦٦٦ حتى عام ١٧٧٠ وفي عام ١٧٧١ افتتحوا الكنيسة ومارسوا الصلاة فيها. كما أنشأوا إلى جانبها بيت الكنيسة كان أرضي فقط وأصبح مؤلف من طابقين.

دير الصليب يعود للقرون الوسطى، هو دير عاصٍ فيه كنيسة بخورسين. في الحنيتين جداريّات بيزنطيّة بكتابة سريانيّة تمثّل في إحداها الرسل والأخرى البشارة. على الجدار الشماليّ جداريّة الصلب وتشبه الى حدٍّ كبير منمنمة رابولا وتنتمي للمدرسة السريانيّة. وضع الجداريّات مذرٍ بفعل مرور الزمن والتخريب. في سفح الجبل قرب الدّير محبستين، الأولى لمار بسكوان وهو شفيع الإستعداد للموت عند أهالي حدشيت، والأخرى لمار سلوان.

The Monastery of the Holy Cross and the hermitages of Sts Beskwan and Silwan - The valley of Houlat Hadsheet

The monastery of the Holy Cross is a medieval monastery in the Holy Valley. The main church is a double apse structure decorated by byzantine frescoes with Syriac inscriptions depicting on one apse the apostles and on the other the Annunciation. On the northern wall there is a fresco of the crucifixion from the Syriac school of iconography, most probably a reproduction of Rabbula’s miniatures. The frescoes are in dire condition due to time and sabotage. In the cliff of the mountain near the monastery stand two hermitages: St Beskwan the patron of the preparation for death to the people of Hadsheet and St Silwan the athonite.

بنى الكنيسة الشيخ موسى الخازن سنة ١٧٢٨ وكانت وقفيّةً لآل الخازن. الكنيسة عقد مزدوج فريد بزخرفته ومقرنصاته وفتحات الضوء في السقف. كانت الكنيسة لزمنٍ طويل مرتبطة بعائلة الخازن إلى أن قامت بين سنتيّ ١٩٠٢ و ١٩٠٤ عاميّة زوق مكايل. في ذلك الزمان هدّد الأهالي بتحوّلهم إلى المذهب الأنغليكانيّ، ولتحول البطريركيّة دون ذلك، حوّلت وقفيّة الكنيسة من عائلة الخازن إلى أهالي البلدة، وخصّ البطريرك الياس الحويّك الرعيّة بزيارةٍ حبريّة وبعددِ من الإنعامات. تضمّ الكنيسة العديد من اللوحات والتحف الكنسيّة القيّمة. رمّمت في ثمانينات القرن العشرين.
The church of St Doumit - Zouk Mikael
The church was built in 1728 by Sheikh Moussa el Khazen as a private church for the Khazen family. The structure is ornate with arabesque decoration and lucarnes in the vault, blending cribbed and crossed vaults. The church was a fiefdom of the Khazen family until the uprising of the peasants between 1902 and 1904. Back then the Maronite Patriarchy made the church a parish for the people to prevent them from turning to anglicanism. Also the Patriarch Elias Howayek made a pontifical visit to the parish and gave the parish many indulgences. The church holds a lot goldsmith artifacts and paintings. The building was renovated in the eighties of the XXth century.
