كنيسة سيّدة الإنتقال - دير طحنيش بنى الموارنة الكنيسة مع قدومهم إلى البلدة سنة ١٧٠٥، وهي أقدم كنيسة مارونيّة في البقاع الغربيّ. الكنيسة صغيرة كناية عن سوقٍ واحد مسقوفة. سقف الكنيسة بغداديّ. تحوي الكنيسة على لوحةٍ للسيّدة منقولة عن موريللو تعود لأربعينات القرن العشرين. مع بداية القرن الحاليّ رُمّمت الكنيسة ورُسم على السقف لوحات تجريديّة. The church of Our Lady of Assumption - Deir Tahnish The maronites built the church in 1705 when they came to the village. It is the oldest maronite church in the West Bekaa region. The structure consists of a small single roofed nave. The church holds a painting copied from Murillo’s Immaculate conception dating back to the forties. The church was renovated in the last decade and the roof was decorated with abstract frescoes.

أنطش مار يوسف - بسكنتا

سنة ١٧٧٠ بدأ أهالي بسكنتا ببناء كنيسة على إسم القدِّيس يوسف، لكنّ البناء تعثّر. فكان ذلك سببًا لدعوة الرهبانيَّة اللبنانيَّة إلى تسلُّمها، سنة ١٧٧١، بناءً على طلب الأهالي. مقابل ذلك، كان على الرهبانيَّة أن تنشئ مدرسةً لتعليم الأحداث وإرشاد القريب في الأمور الروحيَّة. أتمَّت الرهبانيَّة، سنة ١٧٧٦، تشييد الكنيسة، وأنشأت مدرسةً على اسم القدِّيس يوسف، فكانت أقدم مدرسةٍ في بسكنتا، تهتمُّ بتعليم الأولاد مبادئ الدين والأخلاق، واللغتَين السريانيَّة والعربيَّة.

The presbytery of St Joseph - Baskinta

In 1770 the locals of Baskinta began building a church dedicated to St Joseph, yet due to the lack of funds, they decided to hand the church to the Lebanese Maronite Order. The agreement was settled in 1771 and a school to teach the children and provide spiritual guidance was erected by the order. In 1776 the church was dedicated and the first Baskintan school opened providing a program that teaches Syriac, Arabic, Morals, and Catechism.

كنيسة مار إدنا - عين عكرين

تقوم كنيسة مار إدنا في خراج بلدة عين عِكرين. بنيت على عِدَّة مراحل على أنقاضٍ رومانيّة قديمة. فهي بسوقٍ واحدٍ بعقدٍ سريريّ يحتوي على حنيَّة مُكوَّرة، وثلاثة قناطر في الجدار الجنوبيّ. على الحائط الشماليّ، بقايا جِداريّة، تعود الى القرون الوسطى . في الكنيسة لوحة نادرة لمار إدنا مرسومة على النحاس، كما وجد في داخلها بقايا رومانيّة. ومار إدنا هو لقب سريانيّ لمار طراخونبوس وهو شهيد من القرن الثالث وشفيع الأذن.

The church of St Edna - Aïn Ekrin

The ancient church stands in the vicinity of Aïn Ekrin built several stages over roman ruins. It consist of one nave with a crib vault, ending with a semi circular apse. The southern wall consists of three arched windows. The church holds a rare icon of St Edna painted on copper, and many roman poteries. The church also holds a medieval fresco. Edna is a Syriac nickname given to St Trakhonios, a Third century martyr, and the patron saint of ears.

كنيسة مار ميخائيل - سرعل

بُنيت الكنيسة الأولى في القرن الثاني عشر. سنة ١٨٨٥ قرر الأهالي تشييد كنيسة جديدة. سنة ١٨٩٧ إنتهى بناء الكنيسة الجديدة. زيّن الكنيسة بالجداريّات الفنّان راجي دانيال السرعلي، سنة ١٩٥٥، وسنة ٢٠٠٢ رمّم اللوحات وزاد عليها الفنان حبيب خوري. رتّلت فيها السيّدة فيروز أناشيد الفصح سنة ٢٠١٠. تضمّ الكنيسة جثمان كاهنها الخوري يوسف أبي مارون معتوق الذي اشتهر بقداسة السيرة وبقي جسده سالمًا من الفساد.

The church of St Michael - Sereel

The first church was built in the XIIth century, and in 1889 the new church was built on top of it. The church was decorated with frescoes in 1955 by Daniel el Seraaly. In 2002 the frescoes were renovated and added upon by Habib Khoury. In 2012 Fairouz chose the church to sing the easter hymns. The church holds the remains of Fr Youssef Abi Maroun Maatouk who was a saintly figure and his body was incorruptible.
