كنيسة مار ميخائيل - بكفيّاسنة ١٥٩٠ حدث خلاف بين البطريرك سركيس الرزّي والمطران أنطون الجميّل الذي منعه من زيارة بكفيّا، فاستاء العديد من آل الجميّل جرّاء هذا الخلاف وناصروا البطريرك، ممّا دفعهم لبناء كنيسة جديدة سنة ١٥٩٢ بسعي الخوري عيسى الخرّاط مكرّسة لمار ميخائيل. توسّعت الكنيسة عدّة مرّات أهمّها سنة ١٨٨٧ حين أعاد تكريسها المطران نعمة الله سلوان، وبعد الحرب الأهليّة. تضمّ الكنيسة قبّة نيوغوطيّة يعلوها تمثال مار ميخائيل. لوحة مار ميخائيل هي للمستشرق وليم الألمانيّ تعود لسنة ١٨٣٩، أمّ لوحة العذراء فهي من رسم حبيب خوري سنة ٢٠٠٦.The church of St Michael - BikfayaIn 1590 a conflict happened between Patriarch Sarkis el Rezzi and bishop Antoun Gemayel who forbade him from visiting Bikfaya. Because of this mishap, many supporters of the patriarch from the Gemayel clan decided with father Issa Kharrat to build a church dedicated to St Michael in 1592. The church was enlarged and renovated on several occasions, the most important are 1887 when it was rededicated by bishop Nematullah Salean and after the Lebanese Civil War. The church holds a neo gothic bell tower. St Michael’s painting is the work of a german orientalist called William and dates back to 1839. The painting of the Madonna is painted by Habib Khoury in 2006.

يعود بناء الدّير إلى القرون الوسطى، لكنّ الموقع يحوي الكثير من الآثار التي تشير الى استخدامه كحصن بسبب موقعه الاستراتيجيّ. وتشير التقاليد والموروثات أن الموارنة تحصّنوا به إبّان حملة المماليك على جبّة بشرّي. بقي الدّير لمدّةٍ طويلةٍ مزارًا لأهل البلدة. رممّ الموقع سنة ٢٠١٥ وكرّسه البطريرك بشارة بطرس الراعي. يتألف الموقع من الكنيسة الأثريّة بقلب المغارة، آثار القلالي والحديقة الجديدة.
The monastery of the Prophet Elijah - Hadshit

The monastery dates back to the middle ages yet the site was an antique garrison due to it’s strategical location. According to tradition the maronites took refuge in the monastery during the Mamluk’s campaign on the region of Jebbe. The monastery was a shrine for a long period of time. It was restored in 2015 and consecrated by the Patriarch Bechara Boutros el Raii. The site includes the cave church, the ruins of the cells and the new garden.

كنيسة مار مارون - حياطة

بنى أهالي الحياطة كنيسة مار مارون وهي على شكل عقدٍ مصالب سنة ١٨٨٠. كرّسها المطران يوحنّا الحاج (البطريرك لاحقًا)، وقد أوحى وجه هذا الأسقف الفنّان حبيب سرور ليرسم لوحة مار مارون برصانته. تضمّ الكنيسة لوحة البشارة للخوري موسى ديب الدلبتاوي. رمّمت الكنيسة سنة ٢٠٠٨.

The Church of St Maroun - Haiyatah

The villagers constructed the parish church of St Maroun in 1880. The structure is a cross-vault building. It was consecrated by Bishop Youhanna El Hage (later Patriarch) whose face, due to his serenity, served as a model for that of St Maroun when the painting was created by Habib Srour. The church also features an Annunciation painting by Fr Moussa Dib from Dlebta. The church underwent restoration in 2008.

أنطوش سيّدة النجاة - المينا

بُنيت الكنيسة الأولى للموارنة في مدينة الميناء أوائل القرن التاسع عشر، وكانت قبوًا مُعتمًا تحت الأرض. كانت الرعيّة آنذاك فقيرة جدًّا وعُهدت خدمتها للرهبان الأنطونيّين، فكان طعام خادم الرعيّة يصله من دير مار سركيس وباخوس إهدن. سنة ١٨٥٠ بُني الأنطوش، وسنة ١٨٨٩ كرّس المطران أسطفان عوّاد الكنيسة الحاليّة، فكان بناؤها بشكل عقدٍ مُصالب بحجرٍ رمليّ. رُمّمت أواخر القرن العشرين.

The presbytery of Our Lady of Deliverance - El Mina

The first maronite church was built in the Mina in the beginning of the XIXth century. It was then a small underground cellar. The parish was really poor, it was entrusted to an Antonine monk who’s food was brought from the monastery of Sts Sergius and Bacchus Ehden. In 1850 the presbytery was built, and in 1889 the current church was consecrated by Mgr. Estefan Awad Archbishop of Tripoli. The structure is a sandstone crossed vault, restored in the latter half of the XXth century.
