كنيسة مار ميخائيل - بكفيّاسنة ١٥٩٠ حدث خلاف بين البطريرك سركيس الرزّي والمطران أنطون الجميّل الذي منعه من زيارة بكفيّا، فاستاء العديد من آل الجميّل جرّاء هذا الخلاف وناصروا البطريرك، ممّا دفعهم لبناء كنيسة جديدة سنة ١٥٩٢ بسعي الخوري عيسى الخرّاط مكرّسة لمار ميخائيل. توسّعت الكنيسة عدّة مرّات أهمّها سنة ١٨٨٧ حين أعاد تكريسها المطران نعمة الله سلوان، وبعد الحرب الأهليّة. تضمّ الكنيسة قبّة نيوغوطيّة يعلوها تمثال مار ميخائيل. لوحة مار ميخائيل هي للمستشرق وليم الألمانيّ تعود لسنة ١٨٣٩، أمّ لوحة العذراء فهي من رسم حبيب خوري سنة ٢٠٠٦.The church of St Michael - BikfayaIn 1590 a conflict happened between Patriarch Sarkis el Rezzi and bishop Antoun Gemayel who forbade him from visiting Bikfaya. Because of this mishap, many supporters of the patriarch from the Gemayel clan decided with father Issa Kharrat to build a church dedicated to St Michael in 1592. The church was enlarged and renovated on several occasions, the most important are 1887 when it was rededicated by bishop Nematullah Salean and after the Lebanese Civil War. The church holds a neo gothic bell tower. St Michael’s painting is the work of a german orientalist called William and dates back to 1839. The painting of the Madonna is painted by Habib Khoury in 2006.

بنيت سنة ١٨٨٣ كما تشير البلاطة التذكاريّة. هي كابيلا صغيرة تابعة للرعيّة بجانب المدافن تتألف من سوق واحد ينتهي بالمذبح. زيد عليها قنطرة المدخل والقرميد أواخر القرن العشرين. لوحتها من صنع أوروبي تعود لسنة ١٩٢٣.

The church of Our Lady of the fields - Ban

The church was built in 1883 as it is shown by the epitaph. The church is a small chapel near the cemetery. It consists of one nave ending with the altar. A gateway and a tiled roof were added at the end of the XXth century. The painting is imported from Europe and dates back to 1923.

دير سيّدة القلعة - منجز
بنى الأمير البيزنطيّ فيليكس قلعةً على ضفاف النهر الكبير، على بقايا هياكل فينيقيّة ورومانيّة. سنة ١١٢٨ رممّ الأمير الصليبيّ جيلبير دي بوي لوران القلعة، ثم باعها لأمير طرابلس ريموند سان جيل. بعد ذلك استولى فرسان القدّيس يوحنا على القلعة وبنوا فيها معبدًا على اسم شفيعهم مار يوحنّا. تعرض الدّير في حقباتٍ عديدةٍ للخراب. وأثناء انتقال الملك الظاهر بيبرس الى القبيات في طريقه الى حصن عكار استولى على الدير والقلعة. بعد رحيل المماليك تحوّل الدّير إلى مزارٍ مريميّ. أواسط القرن التاسع عشر رمّم الدّير يوسف المريض من منجز، وتنسّك به. سنة ١٨٩٢ تسلّم الدّير الآباء اليسوعيّون فبنوا الكنيسة الجديدة، وأقاموا مدرسةً سنة ١٨٩٥. سنة ١٩٢٥ تسلّمت الرهبانيّة اللبنانيّة المارونيّة الدّير. تعرّض الدّير للخراب خلال الحرب الأهليّة، وعاد إليه الرهبان بداية التسعينيّات. الكنيسة مبنيّة بالحجر البركانيّ الأسود، بسوقٍ واحد وعقد سريريّ، تضمّ الكنيسة العديد من اللوحات الغربيّة ومذبح خشبيّ أوروبيّ الصنع.
The monastery of Our Lady of the fortress - Menjez
The Byzantine prince Felix built a castle over phoenician and roman ruins, that the Crusader prince Gilbert de Pui Lorain took in 1128, then he sold it to the prince of Tripoli Raymond de Saint Gilles. After that the knights of St John took the castle and built a monastery dedicated to St John. With the Mamelouk invasion the monastery was sabotaged when king Zaher Bibars took over Tripoli. After the Mamelouks left, the locals converted the ruins into a Marian shrine. In the mid XIXth century, a local named Youssef el Marid renewed the monastery and made it a hermitage. In 1882 the Jesuits took over, rebuilt the church, and built a school in 1885. In 1925 the Lebanese Maronite Order took the monastery and the school. During the civil war the monastery was sabotaged, the monks didin’t return to the mission until the nineties. The church is made of black bazalt, it is a single nave crib vaulted structure. The church holds many western paintings, and a wooden European high altar.

بدأ بناء الكنيسة سنة ١٨٦٦ بمسعى من الخوري إبراهيم خريش، اذ لاحظ المطران بطرس البستانيّ أن الكنيسة القديمة أصبحت ضيّقة وكانت الرعيّة تتمّم واجباتها الدينيّة في بيت الكاهن. فبدأ مشروع بناء الكنيسة الكبيرة. في الكنيسة ثلاث لوحات واحدة منها نسخة عن لوحة السيّدة والطفل لرافاييل، مار مارون ومار يوسف للفنّان مارون ضو. في باحة الكنيسة نصب لشهداء البلدة الذين رقدوا بالربّ سنة ١٩٢٠. ومنحوتة مصلوب على شجرة طبيعيّة.

The church of the Our Lady- Ain Ibl

The church was built in 1866 with Fr Ibrahim Khoreish. Back then Bishop Boutros el Boustany noticed that the old church is too small for the congregation that was celebrating mass in the priest’s house. The church holds a replica of Rafael’s Madonna, St Maroun and St Joseph by Maroun Daou. In the church’s backyard stands the memorial of the martyrs of the town who were martyred in 1920 and the crucified put on a natural tree.
