سنة ١٨٣٣ بنى الرهبان اليسوعيّون الدير على انقاض محبسة للأنطونيّين، وجلبوا أيقونة سيدة النجاة بعد سنة وهي رسم ساسو فيراتو. في هذه الكنيسة بدأت الأخويات المريميّة الاحتفال بالشهر المريمي سنة ١٨٣٧. سنة ١٨٥٦ كان بناء الكنيسة الكبيرة، التي كان مقرّرًا أن تكون على اسم مار يوحنا فرنسيس رجيس، فما برح الشعب يرتل ترنيمةً مريميّة فجاءت هذه الحادثة كرسالة دفعت لتكريس الكنيسة على اسم السيدة. حمت السيدة اهالي بكفيا من مجازر سنة ١٨٦٠ وداء الهواء الأصفر سنة ١٨٦٧، واليها تنسب العديد من المعجزات. سنة ١٨٧٣ أُسّست فيها جمعية راهبات القلبين الأقدسين. كذلك بزغت فيها دعوة القديسة رفقا، بطرسية الريّس التي كانت ابنة الأب كليم الجميّل اليسوعيّ، وسمعت في هذه الكنيسة نداء "بتترهبي" الذي دفعها لدخول الحياة الرهبانية في ٩شباط ١٨٥٥ في هذا الدير.The Jesuit order started the mission in Bikfaya in 1833 building the monastery over an old Antonine hermitage, and brought an icon of Our Lady painted by Sasso Ferrato the very next year. In this church the Marian confraternities began celebrating the month of Mary in 1838. The church was built in 1856, during the consecration the church was planned to be dedicated to St John Francis Regis, yet the people began singing a Marian hymn, the superiors read that as a sign and dedicated the church to Our Lady. The Miraculous Virgin protected the villagers from the massacres of 1860, and the cholera pandemic in 1867, and she is known for her miraculous interventions. The congregation of The Blessed Hearts was inaugurated In this church in 1873. And in it the young St Rafqa, Boutrsye el Rayes, who was the spiritual daughter of the jesuit Fr. Kalim el Gemayel, heard the calling of The Madona telling her “you will become a nun”, which lead her to enter the monastic life on the 9th of march 1855.

كنيسة القدّيسة كاترينا – أنفه

كنيسة القدّيسة كاترينا كنيسة أرثوذوكسيّة بنيت هذه إبّان الحملة الصليبيّة الثالثة في القرن الثاني عشر بحسب الفنّ الرومانيّ، وكرّست على اسم القبر المقدّس. كانت الكنيسة تابعة لفرسان مالطا. في القرن السابع عشر رُمّمت الكنيسة وسَمّاها السكان على اسم القدّيسة كاترينا. تحوي الكنيسة عدّة أيقونات أهمّها أيقونة القدّيسة كاترينا التي رسمها بوليخرونيوس الكريتي أوائل القرن التاسع عشر.

The Church of St Catherine - Enfeh

The Greek Orthodox church of St Catherine was built in the XIIIth century during the third Crusade according to the romanesque architectural style, and was dedicated to The Holy Sepulcher. The church was a vassal to the Knights of St John of Malta. During the XVIIth century the church was restored and rededicated to St Catherine. The church holds many icons the most important one being that of St Catherine dating back to the early XIXth century, it is the masterpiece of the Cretan iconographer Polychronius.

كنيسة مار جرجس - حاصبيّا

بُنبيت الكنيسة الأولى أوائل القرن التاسع عشر، وأُعيد بناء الحاليّة سنة ١٩١٠. الكنيسة كناية عن عقدٍ مُصالبٍ ينتهي بحنية نصف دائريّة. مذبح الكنيسة من الحجر الأصفر مبنيّ سنة ١٩١٢. بعد الحرب الأهليّة اللبنانيّة نزح القسم الأكبر من مسيحيّي البلدة فأصبحت الكنيسة شبه مهجورة. زارها غبطة البطريرك مار بشارة بطرس الراعي صيف سنة ٢٠١١.

The church of St George - Hasbaya

The first church was built in the early XIXth century, and rebuilt in 1910. The structure consists of a crossed vault ending with a semi circular apse. The altar is made of a local yellow limestone in 1912. After the civil war the town’s maronite population left in great numbers and the church became partially abandoned. The Patriarch Bechara el Rai visited the church in the summer of 2011.

كنيسة القرية الأولى كانت تقع في محلّة الحوش. بعد توسّع القرية مع بداية القرن التاسع عشر، قرّر الأهالي بناء كنيسةٍ جديدةٍ مكان محبسة مار جرجس والتي كانت قائمة بدورها على أنقاض معبدٍ فارسيٍ. وواجهة الكنيسة الغربية ما زالت تحتفظ بشعار الإمبراطوريّة الفارسية، النمر وزهرة اللّوتوس.. أما المذبح القديم فقد إستقدمه الخوري بطرس أبي سليمان من روما، بواسطة البطريرك الياس الحويّك. ورُسمت على جدران الكنيسة أيقونات بريشة كنعان ديب الذي رسم أيقونة مار جرجس القديمة،سنة ١٩٠٤. سنة ٢٠٠٦ رُمّمت الكنيسة.

The church of St George - Ghalboun

The first parochial church was built in the Hawsh area. With the expansion of the village in the beguiling of the XIXth century the locals decided to build their new church over an old hermitage dedicated to St George. The hermitage was built over a Persian Achaemenid watch tower. The church’s western wall still holds a stone from the old tower with Achaemenid engravings: a tiger and a lotus. The church was decorated with frescoes and a painting of St George by Kanaan Dib in 1904. The old marble altar was brought from Rome by Fr. Boutros Abi Sleiman with the aid of Patriarch Elias Howeyck. In 2006 the church was restored.
