كرسيّ سيّدة الخلاص - بيت الدّينبنى الأمير بشير الثاني قصرًا عائليًّا خاصًّا سنة ١٨٢٨ على رابيةٍ فوق بيت الدّين. سنة ١٨٦١ أهدى الإمبراطور نابوليون الثالث رتاجًا كبيرًا لمدخل القصر. سنة ١٨٦٣ إشترى المطران بطرس البستاني القصر من الأميرة حسن جهان وحوّله إلى كرسيّ أسقفيّ لأبرشيّة صيدا، على اسم مار شليطا الذي له كنيسة صغيرة داخل المبنى. سنة ١٩٢٧ بنى المطران أغوسطينوس البستاني كنيسة سيّدة الخلاص بنمط عصر النهضة بما تضمّ من زجاجيّات ومذابح ولوحات. تعرّض البناء للضرر خلال الحرب العالميّة الثانية وحرب الجبل. رمّم وشهد مصالحة الجبل سنة ٢٠٠٠ مع البطريرك نصرالله صفير الذي أخذ من الكرسيّ مقرًّا له.The episcopal seat of our Lady of Deliverance - Beit el DinIn 1828 Prince Bachir II Chehab built a private palace on the outskirts of Beit el Din. Empror Napoleon III gave the palace a grand entry gate. In 1863 princess Hesn Jihan sold the palace to Archbishop Boutros el Boustany who made it the episcopal seat of the eparchy of Sidon, dedicated to St Chalita (Artemius) who had a small chapel inside the building. In 1927 Archbishop Augustin el Boustany built the church of Our Lady of Deliverance in a renaissance style. The building was damaged in World War II and the Lebanese civil war. The structure was restored and saw the pact of reconciliation in the year 2000 with Patriarch Nasrallah Sfeir.

محبسة مار سمعان العاموديّ - بقرقاشا

هذه المحبسة المبنيّة في حرف شيرٍ صخريّ، تعود للقرون الوسطى. بحسب البطريرك الدويهيّ بنتها سنة ١١١٢ تقلا إبنة الخوري باسيل البشرّاني على إسم مار جرجس ومار ضوميط، وما برحت وتحوّلت على اسم مار سمعان العاموديّ. يشهد على ذلك كتاب الريش قُريان السريانيّ الخاص بالمحبسة، الذي يعود لسنة ١٢٤٢، وهو محفوظ في جامعة السلامانكا.

St Simon the stylite hermitage - Bqorqasha

The hermitage is built on the slope of a rocky cliff in the holy valley of Qannoubin. It dates back according to patriarch Stephen Al Douwaihy to year 1112 when Thekle the daughter of a priest named Basil of Bsharre built a hermitage dedicated to Sts George and Doumith, that was rededicated to St Simon the stylite. A Syriac lectionary proper to the hermitage, the Rish Qoryan, dating back to 1242, that was discovered and conserved in Salamanca’s university, attests this story.

دير مار جرجس - بحردق
بُني الدّير سنة ١٦٥٤ بسعي الأب يوسف الرامي، وانتقلت الراهبات إلى الموضع الحالي سنة ١٧٤٤. شُيّدت الكنيسة سنة ١٧٥٠. أواسط القرن التاسع عشر وسّع المطران يوسف جعجع الدّير وجعله كرسيًّا لأبرشيّة قبرص، وجعله بعد سنة ١٨٧٠ مقرًّا لكهنة الأبرشيّة بإذن الكرسيّ الرسوليّ. تحوّل الى مدرسة أقفلت بعد الحرب العالميّة الأولى، بعدها أقفل وترك مهملاً. دشّنه بعد الترميم البطريرك نصرالله بطرس صفير في ٢٥ حزيران سنة ٢٠٠٠.
The Monastery of St George - Bherdok

The first monastery was built with the efforts of Fr Youssef El Ramy in 1654. Nuns relocated to the current building in 1744. The church was accomplished in 1750. In the middle of the XIXth century, Archbishop Youssef Geagea enlarged the building and made it the seat of the eparchy of Cyprus. After year 1870 he made it a residence to the diocesan priests by a decree from the Holy See. After that it was converted to a school that was shut down after World War I, and then was left to abandon. The monastery was renovated and rededicated on the 25th of June 2000 by later Patriarch Nasrallah Boutros Sfeir.

كنيسة السيّدة - مراح الزيّات

الكنيسة قديمة العهد وتاريخ بنائها مجهول. في الكنيسة العديد من الحجار المقصوبة المأخوذة من قلعة سمار جبيل القريبة. البناء كناية عن عقد سريريّ ينتهي بحنية نصف دائريّة. تضمّ الكنيسة لوحتين من القرن التاسع عشر: الأولى للعذراء من عمل كنعان ديب والثانية لمار جرجس من عمل المستشرق البولونيّ بول شلافاك.

The church of Our Lady - Mrah El Zayat

The church is an old structure with an unknown history. The structure is a crib vault ending with a semi circular apse, with many spolias from the nearby Smar Jbeil castle. The church holds two XIXth century paintings: the Madonna by Kanaan Dib and St George by the polish orientalist Paul Shlavat.
