كنيسة مار أنطونيوس الكبير - بيت شباب بَنت عائلة الأشقر كنيسة على إسم القدّيس أنطونيوس الكبير، حوالي سنة ١٨٤٨. سنة ١٩٥٧، هُدمت الكنيسة القديمة التي كان قد صدّعها الزلزال، وبُنيت على أنقاضها كنيسةً حديثةً، على عهد رئيس الدير الأب أنطونيوس راشد أبي يونس. هذه الكنيسة تتبع بهندستها شكل البازيليك، وهي مؤلّفة من ثلاثة صحون تفصل بينها العواميد. لقد اكتست بجدرانيّات رسَمها الفنان أسعد رنّو سنة ١٩٦٦. The church of St Anthony the Great - Beit Chabab The first church was built by Al Ashkar family in 1848. It was destroyed after its walls were weakened by the earthquake of 1957 and the new church was built by Fr. Antonios Rashed Abi Younes according to a basilical plan with three naves separated by a row of columns. The church was decorated with frescoes by Asaad Renno in 1966.

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٧٥٥ في عهد البطريرك يعقوب عوّاد وكرّسها المطران سمعان عوّاد اسقف صيدا. هي اولى الكنائس المارونيّة التي بنيت في منطقة شرقيّ صيدا وساحل جزّين. تتميّز بهندستها البسيطة وبالنقوش على أعتاب أبوابها المنخفضة. خُرّبت إبّان الحرب الأهليّة وأعيد ترميمها في تسعينات القرن العشرين.

The church was built in 1755 during the pontificate of Patriarch Jacob Awad and was consecrated by Sidon’s bishop Simon Awad. It is the first maronite church in the vicinity of Sidon. The architecture is simple and doted with symbolic arabesque over the small narrow doors. During the civil war it was heavily damaged and restored during the nineties.

كنيسة مار يعقوب المقطّع - دلبتا

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٧٦٤، وهي عقد مصالب بحنية واحدة وثلاث مذابح. هي كنيسة البلدة الرعائيّة. رممّت للمرّة الأولى ما يين سنة ١٨٩٣ و١٨٩٤ وأقيم فيها المذبح الكبير. أمّا الترميم الثاني يعود لسنة ١٩٧٥. تحوي الكنيسة على مدفن المطران يوحنّا مراد رئيس أساقفة بعلبك (+١٩٣٧). كذلك على مجموعة كبيرة من اللوحات لكنعان ديب إبن البلدة تعود لأواخر القرن التاسع عشر.

The church of St Jacob the Persian - Dlebta

Built in 1764, it is the town’s parochial church. The structure is a crossed vault ending in a single apse with three altars. The church was restored between 1893 and 1894 when the current high altar was brought, and in 1975. In the church is buried Mgr. Youhanna Mrad (+1937) archbishop of Baalbek. The church holds a great number of paintings by Kanaan Dib the son of Dlebta, dating back to the late XIXth century.

كنيسة مار يعقوب المقطّع - رشدبّين

كنيسة صغيرة تعود من حيث الهندسة والشكل إلى العصر البيزنطيّ وتقع بقرب المعبد الرومانيّ. تتألف من عقد سريريّ بحنيةٍ واحدة. يشكّل الجزء الأماميّ من الكنيسة قسم للموعوظين. ومار يعقوب هو قديّس فارسيّ من القرن الرابع، كان فارسًا نبيلاً، ولم يجحد إيمانه فنال إكليل الشهادة.

The church of St Jacob the Persian - Reshdebbin

A small church near the old roman temple. It dates back to the Byzantine era according to its architecture. The church consists of a crib vaulted ceiling ending with a single apse. The frontal part is occupied by a narthex. St Jacob was a Persian third century noble knight who suffered martyrdom so he wouldn’t recant his faith.
