بناها الخوري يوحنا إبن الخوري فرج الحداد، وقد عُثرَ على قرطاس في كنيسة تحوم يؤيّد ذلك.وكنيسة مار روحانا مشيّدة على بقايا برج روماني قديم آثاره ما زالت ماثلة، فزاويته الجنوبيّة الغربيّة راسخة على حجارة ضخمة من نفس مقلع حجارة بعلبك بحسب الخبراء. اما درج الكنيسة فداخليّ، وفي خاصرة حنية الكنيسة حجرة مخفية أعدّها القدماء مدفنًا لكنوزهم.وبالقرب من هذا المعبد، اكتشف الأثريّون مدافن قديمة واستدلّوا على منزلة مهمة لمن سكن في هذه الأماكن الأثريّة.تجدر الإشارة إلى أنّ مار روحانا المرنّم هو لقب محبّب للسريان معناه الروحانيّ، يطلق على مار قبريانوس الناسك.St Rouhana’s church - Aïn kfaaIt was built by Fr. Youhanna son of Fr. Faraj Al Haddad, as it is attested in a manuscript belonging to the parish of Thoum.The church is built on top of an old roman tour, the stones of which are quarried from the same source as the Great temples of Baalbek. The church has an indoor stone ladder.Near the church many roman ruins where found and a noble necropolis.St Rouhana the cantor is a title given by the syriacs and is translated to "the spiritual", it is given to St Cyprian the hermit.

كنيسة سيّدة الغابة - بيت شباب

بنُيت الكنيسة الأولى في القرن السابع عشر، واعتنى بإعادة بنائها آل الحايك مرّتين سنة ١٧٧٢ و١٧٧٣. خُرّبت أثناء حملة إبراهيم باشا فأعاد ترميمها الأمير حيدر أبي اللمع سنة ١٨٤٠. أخذت شكلها الحاليّ سنة ١٩٠٠ ورُمّمت سنة ١٩٩٠. في الكنيسة عدّة لوحات أهمّها اللوحة القديمة التي تعود للقرن السادس عشر، كان قد رسم فوقها كنعان ديب لوحة أخرى لم تعد موجودة سنة ١٨٣٩ وقد جرّحها فارسٌ درزيّ في أحداث ١٨٦٠، وقد نُقلت عنها لوحة لحبيب سرور تعود لسنة ١٩١٩.
The church of Our Lady of the Forest - Beit Chabeb

The church was first built in the XVIIth century, then rebuilt by the Hayek family in 1726 and 1773. It was damaged during the campaign of Mehmet Ali Pasha and restored by Prince Haidar Abi Ll Lamah in 1840. It took its final shape in year 1900, and then restored 90 years later. The church holds many paintings the most important ones being the old XVIth century icon of the Madona, that was covered by another painting by Kanaan Dib drawn in year 1839 that is no longer present. This painting was attacked by a Druze knight in the war of 1860. Habib Srour drew a copy of it in 1919.

بُنيت سنة ١٨٩٨ عندما اوقف يوسف روفايل جبّور ارض الملّاحة لبناء كنيسة. مؤلّفة من سوق واحدة مليّسة وهي من الحجر المصقوب المغطى بالقرميد. اللوحة من عمل سليم صليبا سنة ١٩٢٧.

The church was built in 1898 when Joseph Rafael Jabbour gave the land of Al Malaha to build a church. The church is a single nave built in yellow stone. The painting is the work of Salim Saliba dating back to 1927

كنيسة مار يوحنّا الحبيب - جربتا

سنة ١٨٦٥ شيّد الخوري يوحنّا جرجس بصبوص مدرسةً على اسم مار يوحنّا الحبيب في محلّة الضهر معاد، وجعل لها كنيسةً صغيرةً بعقدٍ مُصالب. أُوقفت المدرسة والكنيسة للرهبانيّة اللبنانيّة المارونيّة سنة ١٨٩٥ بُغية تحويلها لدير راهباتٍ مُحصّنات. قبلت الرهبانيّة الوقفيّة سنة ١٨٩٧ وصادق عليها البطريرك يوحنّا الحاج. سنة ١٩٠١ رقد الخوري يوحنّا بالربّ ودُفن في كنيسته. رُمّمت الكنيسة سنة ٢٠٠٣ ونُقل إليها مذبح دير مار يوسف القديم وهو من عمل الأخوين بصبوص من راشانا.

The Church of St. John the Apostle - Jrabta

The church was constructed in 1865 to serve as a chapel for St. John's School, which was established by Father Youhanna Gerges Basbous. The school was handed over to the Lebanese Maronite Order in 1895 and was transformed into a nunnery. The donation was accepted by the order in 1897, and the decision was authorized by Patriarch Youhanna el Hajj. In 1901, Father Basbous passed away and was buried in the chapel. The church underwent restoration in 2003, during which the magnificent marble altar of St. Joseph's Monastery, a masterpiece carved by the Basbous brothers, was installed.
