بناها الخوري يوحنا إبن الخوري فرج الحداد، وقد عُثرَ على قرطاس في كنيسة تحوم يؤيّد ذلك.وكنيسة مار روحانا مشيّدة على بقايا برج روماني قديم آثاره ما زالت ماثلة، فزاويته الجنوبيّة الغربيّة راسخة على حجارة ضخمة من نفس مقلع حجارة بعلبك بحسب الخبراء. اما درج الكنيسة فداخليّ، وفي خاصرة حنية الكنيسة حجرة مخفية أعدّها القدماء مدفنًا لكنوزهم.وبالقرب من هذا المعبد، اكتشف الأثريّون مدافن قديمة واستدلّوا على منزلة مهمة لمن سكن في هذه الأماكن الأثريّة.تجدر الإشارة إلى أنّ مار روحانا المرنّم هو لقب محبّب للسريان معناه الروحانيّ، يطلق على مار قبريانوس الناسك.St Rouhana’s church - Aïn kfaaIt was built by Fr. Youhanna son of Fr. Faraj Al Haddad, as it is attested in a manuscript belonging to the parish of Thoum.The church is built on top of an old roman tour, the stones of which are quarried from the same source as the Great temples of Baalbek. The church has an indoor stone ladder.Near the church many roman ruins where found and a noble necropolis.St Rouhana the cantor is a title given by the syriacs and is translated to "the spiritual", it is given to St Cyprian the hermit.

دير مار أبون - وادي قاديشا

هو دير مار يوحنّا القصير الملقب بأبون أحد آباء الصحراء. يتكوّن الدّير من كنيسةٍ وعدّة قلالي. تقع الكنيسة داخل مغارة وهي على نسق البازيليك في البناء، والأكبر بين كنائس الوادي. أوّل ذكر للدّير يعود إلى القرن الثاني عشر، عندما أفاد البطريرك اسطفان الدويهيّ أن "هذا الدير كان مديرًا لجميع النساك في منطقة بشراي" . جعله البطريرك يعقوب الحدثي مقرًّا له سنة ١٤٤٥. بقي الدّير مأهولاً للقرن السابع عشر، وهو اليوم ضمن ورشة ترميم لإصلاحه وتجديده.

The monastery of St Aboun - The Valley of Qannoubine

The monastery is dedicated to St John the short an Egyptian desert father known to the syriacs as Aboun. The monastery consists of a basilical cave church, the largest one in the holy valley, and some adjacent cells. The first mention of the monastery is from the XIIth century when it was the head of all the monasteries and hermitages in the region of Bsharre according to Patriarch Estefan el Douaihy. In 1445 the monastery became the patriarchal residence of Patriarch Yaaqoub el Hadathi. The monastery fell into ruins at the end of the XVIIth century, today a plan for it’s restoration is undergoing.

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٨١٢ وكرّسها المطران الياس محاسب سنة ١٨٤١. بُنيت القبّة بسعي المغتربين سنة ١٩١٠. لوحة العذراء التي تعلو المذبح منقولة عن مادونا سيستينا لرافايل. في الكنيسة العديد من الأيقونات والسقف مكسو بالجداريات من عمل أ. روكز سنة ٢٠١٢.

The church was built in 1812, and consecrated by Bishop Elias Mhaseb in 1841. The Campanile was built in 1910 with the donations of the village’s diaspora. The painting of the Madona over the high altar is a copy of the Madona Sistina of Raphael. The church is rich in icons, and the vault is covered in frescoes painted by I. Roukos in 2012.

محبسة مار شلّيطا - وادي المذابح حدشيت

وادي المذابح هو من روافد الوادي المقدَس، وفيه محبسة مار أرتاميوس (شليطا) وتعود للقرن الحادي عشر. مؤلّفة من عقد سريريّ ينتهي بحنية نصف دائريّة، البناء أصبح اليوم أثرًا. في الموقع بقايا عظام بشريّة.

The Hermitage of St Chalita - The valley of Mazabeh Hadsheet

The valley of Mazabeh is a part of the Holy Valley descending from Hadsheet. In the valley stands the hermitage of St Artemius (Chalita in syriac) dating back to the XIth century. The building is in ruins consisting of a cribbed vault ending with a semi circular apse. The church contains remains of human bones.
