كنيسة مار يوسف - عشقوت

كنيسة مار يوسف في محلّة جبل عشقوت، تم تشييدها سنة ١٩٢٦. الكنيسة وقف لآل موسى بنوها لبُعد مساكنهم عن البلدة. الكنيسة صغيرة عبارة عن عقدٍ مصالبٍ، إختبأ فيها الفراريّة خلال الحرب العالميّة الثانية.

The Church of St. Joseph - Ashqout

The Church of St. Joseph is located in the mountains surrounding Ashqout and was built in 1926 as a private chapel for the Moussa family. They built it because their homes were far away from the village center. The church is a small crossed vault and housed fleeing outlaws during World War II.

كنيسة سيّدة المهاجرين - عبدين

بنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٩٤٩ بسعي حثيث من خادم الرعيّة آنذاك الخوري بولس العلم، الذي ما وفّر جهدًا مع أبناء البلدة المهاجرين لبناء كنيسة كبيرة للبلدة. هي الكنيسة الوحيدة المكرّسة لسيّدة المهاجرين التي يقع عيدها في ١٨ أيلول من كلّ عام، تذكار هجرة المسيح الى مصر. المذبح الكبير مستقدم من دير راهبات الناصرة في بيروت سنة ١٩٦٢، وهو إيطاليّ الصنع. أمّا اللوحات فوق المذابح فهي من عمل يوسف بو هارون من زغرتا، وفي الكنيسة لوحة أخرى للسيّدة من عمل جوزيف فبيان العلم.

The church of Our Lady of Immigrants - Abdin

The church was built in 1949 with the aids of the village’s diaspora and the hard work of Fr Boulos El Alam who raised funds for the project. It is the only church with this dedication. Its feast day is celebrated on the 18th of September every year, the commemoration of the Flight to Egypt. The high altar is Italian and was brought from The Sisters of Nazareth Monastery in Beirut in 1962. The paintings over the altars are the work of Joseph Bou Haroun. The church holds another painting of the Madona done by Joseph Fabien El Alam.

- Couvent Saint Antonios - الرهبنة اللبنانية المارونية OLM, Wata Houb, Lebanon

بُني الدير سنة 1700، آن عَرض الشيخ سليمان الهاشم العاقوريّ على الرهبانيَّة اللبنانيّة المارونيّة أن يسلِّمها مزرعة حوب لتنشئ فيها ديرًا. حوالي سنة 1714، عرض أهالي تنُّورين على المؤسِّس المطران عبدالله قراعلي، أن يسلِّموه وقف مار ضومط، لتقوم الرهبانيَّة بتعليم الأحداث. أنشأت الرهبانيَّة، سنة 1749، ديرًا على اسم العذراء مريم، على أنقاض كنيسةٍ قديمة. ومن ثمَّ عملت الرهبانيَّة على توسيع أملاكها في المحلَّة. سنة 1766، أوقف الأمير يوسف شهاب خرائب مار يعقوب الوادي ومار أنطونيوس. وسنة 1790، جعلت الرهبانيَّة دير السيِّدة ودير مار أنطونيوس ديرًا واحدًا، حيث هو اليوم، على اسم القدِّيس أنطونيوس الكبير. قرب الدير أُنشئت محبسة على اسم مار جرجس خرّجت كوكبة من الحبساء القدّيسين. كنيسته تحوي مذابح رخاميّة ومجموعة زيتيّات أهمها لوحة مار انطونيوس الكبير لداود القرم.

The mission of the Lebanese Maronite order started in Tannourin during the year 1700 when a local feudal lord Sleiman Hashem el Akoury gave the order a farm in Houb to build a monastery. In 1714 Bishop Abdalla Qaraaly was given custody over the church of St Doumit in order to start a monastic school. In 1790 the monks joined the two monasteries of the Madonna and St Anthony into the one that stands today. Near the monastery St George’s hermitage was erected. The monastic church holds beautiful marble altars and many oil paintings. The most important painting is the one depicting St Anthony the Great, painted by Dawoud El Qorm
