كنيسة مار جرجس الشهيد - عقتانيتبنيت الكنيسة في القرن الثامن عشر، تعرّضت للتخريب خلال أحداث سنة ١٨٦٠. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ مصالبٍ بحنية واحدة. تضمّ الكنيسة أيقونتين مقدسيّيتين للسيّدة والعماد، ولوحةً لمار جرجس تعود لسنة ١٩١٦ من عمل خليل عقل. تجدّدت وأعاد تكريسها المطران مارون العمّار في ٢٤ نيسان ٢٠٢٢.The church of St George the martyr - AqtanitThe church was built in the XVIIIth century and sabotaged during the war of 1860. The structure consists of a crossed vault with a single nave. The church holds two icons from the school of Jerusalem: the Theophany and the Madonna and a painting of St George by Khalil Akl dating back to 1916. The church was renewed and reconsecrated by bishop Maroun Al Ammar on the 24th of April 2022.

كنيسة مار مارون - حياطة

بنى أهالي الحياطة كنيسة مار مارون وهي على شكل عقدٍ مصالب سنة ١٨٨٠. كرّسها المطران يوحنّا الحاج (البطريرك لاحقًا)، وقد أوحى وجه هذا الأسقف الفنّان حبيب سرور ليرسم لوحة مار مارون برصانته. تضمّ الكنيسة لوحة البشارة للخوري موسى ديب الدلبتاوي. رمّمت الكنيسة سنة ٢٠٠٨.

The Church of St Maroun - Haiyatah

The villagers constructed the parish church of St Maroun in 1880. The structure is a cross-vault building. It was consecrated by Bishop Youhanna El Hage (later Patriarch) whose face, due to his serenity, served as a model for that of St Maroun when the painting was created by Habib Srour. The church also features an Annunciation painting by Fr Moussa Dib from Dlebta. The church underwent restoration in 2008.

بُنيت الكنيسة الأولى في القرن السابع عشر فوق بقايا هيكل رومانيّ على يد الخوري يرد الحدشيتي. أواخر القرن التاسع عشر أُعيد بناؤها على يد الخوري مخايل الخوري يونس وأُتِمَّ سنة ١٨٩٩. اللوحات الثلاث الرئيسيّة من عمل داود القرم، أمّا الجداريّات فهي أحدث عهدًا تعود لمنتصف القرن العشرين وهي من عمل مالك شحيبر طوق.

The church was first built in the 17th century over the ruins of a roman temple by Fr. Yard of Hadshit. During the 19th century the church was rebuilt by Fr. Mikhael el Khoury Younes in 1899. The three main paintings were done by Dawoud al Qorm, The murals are more recent from the mid 20th century by Malek Chehaiber Tawk.

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٧٥٥ في عهد البطريرك يعقوب عوّاد وكرّسها المطران سمعان عوّاد اسقف صيدا. هي اولى الكنائس المارونيّة التي بنيت في منطقة شرقيّ صيدا وساحل جزّين. تتميّز بهندستها البسيطة وبالنقوش على أعتاب أبوابها المنخفضة. خُرّبت إبّان الحرب الأهليّة وأعيد ترميمها في تسعينات القرن العشرين.

The church was built in 1755 during the pontificate of Patriarch Jacob Awad and was consecrated by Sidon’s bishop Simon Awad. It is the first maronite church in the vicinity of Sidon. The architecture is simple and doted with symbolic arabesque over the small narrow doors. During the civil war it was heavily damaged and restored during the nineties.
