كنيسة مار الياس - العاقورة هي كنيسة صغيرة مسقوفة بُنيت أواخر القرن التاسع عشر، زُخرف بابها وأُضيفت لها القبّة في خمسينيّات القرن العشرين، رُمّمت وأخذت شكلها الحاليّ سنة ٢٠١٦. The church of St Elijah - Aaqoura The church is a small roofed structure built in the late XIXth century. During the mid XXth century the main door was decorated with arabesques and a bell tower was added to the structure. It was restored and took its current form in 2016.

كانت قمّة الشرفة تخصّ مشايخ آل خازن. وقد باعوها عام ١٧٥٤ إلى القس يوسف مارون الطرابلسي بشرط أن يبني مدرسة. بعد إنتخابه بطريركًا سريانيًّا في ماردين وهربه من الإضهاد إثر إعلانه الشركة مع الكنيسة الكاثوليكيّة، إشترى البطريرك إغناطيوس جروة دير الشرفة عام ١٧٨٦ وجعله كرسيًّا له ونقل إليه أيقونة سيّدة النجاة المقدسيّة التي رافقته في ترحاله. يُعدّ هذا الدير المقر البطريركيّ للسريان الكاثوليك، كما ويضمّ مدرسة لتعليم الأولاد وإكليريكيّة.

The hill of Sharfe was a property of the Khazen feudal lords. In 1754 the parcel of land was sold to the monk Joseph Maroun from Tripoli to build a school. After he was elected Syriac patriarch in Mardin, Mor Ignatius Jarwe proclaimed communion with the Roman Catholic Church. For this, he was then persecuted and obliged to leave his homeland. He finally settled in Charfe and bought the old school transforming it into a patriarcal seat bringing in an icon of Our Lady of Deliverance from Jerusalem. Since then the monastery became a patriarcal seat with a school and a seminary.

كنيسة مار جرجس الشهيد - عقتانيت

بنيت الكنيسة في القرن الثامن عشر، تعرّضت للتخريب خلال أحداث سنة ١٨٦٠. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ مصالبٍ بحنية واحدة. تضمّ الكنيسة أيقونتين مقدسيّيتين للسيّدة والعماد، ولوحةً لمار جرجس تعود لسنة ١٩١٦ من عمل خليل عقل. تجدّدت وأعاد تكريسها المطران مارون العمّار في ٢٤ نيسان ٢٠٢٢.
The church of St George the martyr - Aqtanit

The church was built in the XVIIIth century and sabotaged during the war of 1860. The structure consists of a crossed vault with a single nave. The church holds two icons from the school of Jerusalem: the Theophany and the Madonna and a painting of St George by Khalil Akl dating back to 1916. The church was renewed and reconsecrated by bishop Maroun Al Ammar on the 24th of April 2022.
