كنيسة مار شليطا - عندقتالدّير الأوّل الذي بُني في الموضع يعود لأواخر القرون الوسطى. أمّا الكنيسة فتعود للقرن السابع عشر، تجدّدت عدّة مرّات وكان آخرها سنة ١٩٠٥ حين أخذت شكلها الحاليّ. الكنيسة مبنيّة بالحجر البازالتيّ الأسود، وهي عقد مُصالب ينتهي بحنية. تحوي الكنيسة لوحةً لمار شلّيطا من عمل الفنّان هارمانديان، تعود لسنة ١٩٣٥.The church of St Chalita (Artemius) - Aandqet The first monastery built on the spot dates back to the low middle ages. The church was built in the XVIIth century and was restored many times. The current shape dates back to 1905. بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٩٠٥ بموجب اتفاق بين عائلتي أبي يونس وعاد يعود ل٢٨ تشرين الأوّل سنة ١٩٠٢، صادق عليه المطران نعمةالله سلوان. بنيت الكنيسة على مراحل كما تشهد المداميك البارزة في جدرانها. كرّس الكنيسة الخورأسقف يوسف الحايك سنة ١٩٣٩. الكنيسة كناية عن عقدٍ مصالب مرتفع، تنتهي بحنية مستقيمة ومذبح، رمّمت أواخر القرن العشرين. للكنيسة قبّتين للجرس إحداها مثمّنة الأضلاع والأخرى مربعة. تحوي الكنيسة على ثلاث لوحات من عمل داوود القرم تُمثّل التجلي والسيّدة ومار يوسف.

The church of the Holy Savior - Hammana

In 1902 an accord to build a church was concluded between the two families of Abi Youness and Aad, it was promulgated by Bishop Nematullah Selwan on the 28th of October. The construction ended in 1905. The church was consecrated by Chorbishop Youssef el Hayek in 1939. The structure consists of a crossed vault with three straight apses and three altars. The church was renovated in the late XXth century. The building is ornated with two bell towers one octagonal and the other squared. The church holds three paintings by Dawood el Qorm depicting the Transfiguration, the Madonna and St Joseph.

دير مار عبدا - دير القمر سنة ١٨٤٩، تأسّس الدير على يد الأب نعمة الله البكفاوي والأب بطرس الغزيريّ، بهدف خدمة النفوس في منطقة دير القمر. سنة ١٨٩٥، على عهد الأب العام سابا دريان، اتمّ الاب المدبّر افرام حنين الديراني بناء الدير، وأنشأ مدرسة لأبناء الرهبانية. سنة ١٩٦٣، تمّ بناء مدرسة مار عبدا. سنة ٢٠٠١، تمّ إفتتاح فرع لجامعة سيّدة اللويزة في الدير مكان الثانويّة الرسميّة وفرع للجامعة اللبنانية. سنة ٢٠٠٥، تم ترميم الدير وإصلاح غرفه والصالون والاقبية ليستقبل الرهبان والحركات الرسولية. يتميّز الدير بهندسته الفريدة وهي مزيج من فنّ العمارة اللبنانيّة والحلبيّة. The monastery of St. Abda - Deir el Qamar The monastery was built in 1849, to provide pastoral and spiritual assistance in Deir el Qamar. In 1895 during the mandate of Abbot Saba Derian the monastery was completed and a monastic school was erected. In 1963 the school was renewed and opened to the public. In 2001 a branch of NDU and of the Lebanese University were opened next to the monastery. In 2005 the monastery was renewed. The building is a great late 19th century witness to Lebanese architecture with elements of Aleppo’s art and arabesque.

كابيلا سيّدة الآلام - بزمّار

في القرن السادس عشر زار البطريرك ارزيفيان روما والتقى البابا بنديكتوس الرابع عشر، وأهداه أحد الكرادلة لوحة لسيّدة الآلام، منسوبة لمدرسة رافاييل تعود لرافاييل سانزيو أو الى غيراريو بار بيري. في رحلة العودة تعرّضت السفينة لخطر الغرق فرُميت اللوحة في البحر ووُجدت تطفو على المياه بشكلٍ عجائبيّ. بعد هذه الحادثة وُضعت اللوحة في كنيسة الدّير فوق العرش البطريركيّ.
عام ١٨٠٢ ضربت الصاعقة الكنيسة، وسقطت على العرش البطريركيّ حيث كانت صورة العذراء، من دون الحاق الضرر بالعرش، ولا باللوحة، فبُنيت على إثر المعجزة كابيلا صغيرة ملاصقة للدّير وهي مزار للمؤمنين طالبين نِعم سيّدة الآلام. زارها قداسة البابا بنديكتوس السادس عشر سنة ٢٠١٢.

The chapel of Our Lady of Sorrows - Bzommar

In the XVIth century, the Armenian Patriarch Arzivian visited Rome and met pope Benedict XIV. He was gifted an icon of our Lady of Sorrows from an Italian cardinal. The painting is from Raphael’s school and is attributed to Raphael Sanzio or Gerario Parperi. On the way back the ship was in danger of shipwreck, and the painting was thrown in the sea with other furniture. It was rediscovered miraculously floating several days later. After the incident it was put over the patriarchal chair in the main church of Bzommar.
In 1802 a lighting bolt hit the throne and the painting fell down, yet even the glass that was on it was miraculously preserved. A chapel adjacent to the monastery was erected to enshrine the miraculous icon. The chapel was visited by pope Benedict XVI in 2012.
