كنيسة مار شليطا - عندقتالدّير الأوّل الذي بُني في الموضع يعود لأواخر القرون الوسطى. أمّا الكنيسة فتعود للقرن السابع عشر، تجدّدت عدّة مرّات وكان آخرها سنة ١٩٠٥ حين أخذت شكلها الحاليّ. الكنيسة مبنيّة بالحجر البازالتيّ الأسود، وهي عقد مُصالب ينتهي بحنية. تحوي الكنيسة لوحةً لمار شلّيطا من عمل الفنّان هارمانديان، تعود لسنة ١٩٣٥.The church of St Chalita (Artemius) - Aandqet The first monastery built on the spot dates back to the low middle ages. The church was built in the XVIIth century and was restored many times. The current shape dates back to 1905. بنى دير مار ميخائيل مشايخ آل بليبل سنة 1740. تسلَّمت الرهبانيَّة اللبنانيَّة هذه الوقفيَّة من الشيخ عبد الأحد بليبل، في تشرين الثاني 1756، بموجب صكٍّ مكتوبٍ وموقَّعٍ ومصدَّقٍ، لكي "تعلِّم الأولادَ وتفيد القريبَ... والأنفس حسب الإمكان"... شيَّدت الكنيسة الجديدة، سنة 1905. وبدأت، سنة 1997، ورشة ترميمٍ للكنيسة وإلباسها حلَّةً جديدة. يتابع دير مار ميخائيل رسالتَه الثقافيَّة بالإضافة إلى نشاطاته الرعويَّة.

The Monastery was built by the Bleibels a feudal lords family in 1740. It was put under the custody of the Lebanese Maronite Order by Sheikh Abd el Ahad Bleibel in 1756, in a decree that widens the mission of the monastery to education and pastoral work.
The church was rebuilt in 1905. And since 1997 the monastery was renewed to continue the mission.

سنة ١٩٠٤ قُسِّمت كنيسة مار جرجس بين آل الراعي وآل الريّس. فقرّر يوسف الريّس البقاء مع أخواله في الكنيسة القديمة، لكنّه عاد سنة ١٩٠٦ وقرّر إنشاء كنيسة جديدة لمار جرجس مع عددٍ من عائلات البلدة. بقيت هذه الكنيسة مًقفلة حتّى ستينيّات القرن العشرين حين أّعيد افتتاحها وتكريسها على إسم مار الياس. الكنيسة مسقوفة وتحوي ثلاث حنايا. تضمّ الكنيسة ساعة طنّانة، وتحوي لوحةُ من عمل حبيب سرور.

The church of St Elijah - Hemlaya

In 1904 the old St George’s church was divided between the Rahi and the Rayess families. Back then Youssef El Rayess decided to stay with his uncles, yet in 1906 he decided to build a new church dedicated to St George with a number of the village’s families. This church remained closed until the sixties when it was rededicated to St Elijah. The church is a roofed structure with three apses, it holds a clocktower and contains a painting of St Elijah by Habib Srour.

كاتدرائيّة مار جرجس - صربا

سنة ١٨٦٩ اذ كان المطران يوحنّا الحاج (البطربرك لاحقًا) أسقفًا على بعلبك، وكانت صربا تابعة له، إشترى قطعة أرضٍ من بطريركيّة الروم الملكيّين الكاثوليك. فبنيت الكاتدرائيّة بسعي الخوري بولس الأشقر البجّاني. مع موت البطريرك الحاج سنة ١٨٩٠، ضمّت صربا إلى أبرشيّة دمشق. وسنة ١٩٦٠ فصلت عن دمشق لتصبح منطقة صربا نيابةً بطريركيّةً مركزها هذه الكاتدرائيّة. يتميّز بناء الكاتدرائيّة بتصميمٍ بازيليكيّ بسوقٍ واحدة وثلاث مذابح. اللوحات التي تعلو المذابح من عمل الرسّام داوود القرم وتعود للأوائل القرن العشرين.

St George’s cathedral - Sarba

In 1869 Mgr.John el Hajj (later patriarch) archbishop of Baalbeck, since Sarba was a dependency of Baalbeck back then, bought a parcel of land from the Melkite Catholic patriarchate to build a church. The construction of the new church began with Fr Boulos al Achkar el Bejjany. When Patriarch el Hajj passed away, Sarba was transferred juridically from the see of Baalbeck to the see of Damascus. In 1860 Sarba was proclaimed an independent ecclesiastical province, a patriarchal vicariate with the cathedral at it’s center. The structure is a single nave with three apses, and three altars. The church holds three early XXth century paintings by Daoud el Qorm.
