كنيسة مار شليطا - عندقتالدّير الأوّل الذي بُني في الموضع يعود لأواخر القرون الوسطى. أمّا الكنيسة فتعود للقرن السابع عشر، تجدّدت عدّة مرّات وكان آخرها سنة ١٩٠٥ حين أخذت شكلها الحاليّ. الكنيسة مبنيّة بالحجر البازالتيّ الأسود، وهي عقد مُصالب ينتهي بحنية. تحوي الكنيسة لوحةً لمار شلّيطا من عمل الفنّان هارمانديان، تعود لسنة ١٩٣٥.The church of St Chalita (Artemius) - Aandqet The first monastery built on the spot dates back to the low middle ages. The church was built in the XVIIth century and was restored many times. The current shape dates back to 1905. أواسط القرن التاسع عشر حمت السيّدة شخصًا من آل ياغي من الغرق فنذر بناء كنيسةٍ لها في اليمونة. الكنيسة صغيرة بعقدٍ مصالبٍ. تشتهر هذه الكنيسة بكونها مقامًا عجائبيّّا يقصده المسيحيّون والشيعة للتبرّك.

The church of our Lady of Yammouneh - Yammouneh

In the mid XIXth century a man from the Yaghy clan was saved from drowning with the miraculous intercession of Our Lady. He dedicated himself to build a church in Yammouneh as an act of thanksgiving. The church is small with a crossed vault. The shrine is considered holy for both christians and Shias, and it is an important pilgrimage site for both religions.

دير مار بطرس وبولس - عشقوت

بنى البطريرك بولس مسعد الدّير في النصف الثاني من القرن التاسع عشر، وجعله مركزًا بطريركيًّا له إبّان حبريته. استقدم للكنيسة تمثالين رخاميّين والأواني من روما، مع مجموعة من اللوحات الصغيرة. أمّا اللوحة الكبيرة فوق المذبح وسط الكنيسة، فهي من عمل داود القرم. بعد وفاته، دُفن البطريرك في الكنيسة، وأوقف الدّير لعائلة مسعد. تحوّل في فترةٍ من الزمن إلى مدرسة، والآن يخوض عمليّة ترميم لإبراز قيمته التاريخيّة.

The monastery of Sts Peter and Paul - Ashkout

The monastery was built in the second part of the XIXth century by patriarch Boulos Massaad, and he resided in it during his pontificate. The patriarch acquired for the church two roman marble statues of Sts Peter and Paul, and many paintings. The great painting over the high altar is by Dawoud El Qorm. After the death of the patriarch the monastery became in the possession of the Masaad family, it was converted into a school for a while and now it is undergoing a restoration plan to bring out the historical value of the place.

يعود وجود الفرنسيسكان حرّاس الأراضي المقدّسة في مدينة طرابلس الى القرن سنة ١٢١٧. أقاموا ديرهم الأوّل في هذه البقعة، وأعيد البناء مع الكنيسة سنة ١٨٦٠. رُمّم الدّير سنة ١٩٤٧ وبنيت شرفة فوق الكنيسة. كذلك بنيت مدرسة بقيت الى سنة ٢٠١٤. يقوم الدّير اليوم برسالة في قلب مدينة طرابلس مع كافة أطياف المجتمع المحليّ.

The Friary of St Francis of Assisi - El Mina Tripoli

The presence of the Franciscains Custodians of the Holy Land in Tripoli goes back to 1217. Their first friary was built on this site, and rebuilt in the current structure in 1860. The building was restored in 1947 and a balcony was added over the church. The friary housed a school that remained open until 2014. Today the friary is a Franciscan mission in the heart of Tripoli working with all the people of the local society.
