محبسة مار بطرس وبولس - عنّايابُنيت المحبسة سنة ١٧٩٨، على يد الراهبان يوسف أبي رميا وداود بن موسى عيسى خليفة من إهمج، اللذان بنيا معبدًا صغيرًا، على أنقاض معبد قديم، وأطلقوا عليه إسم دير التجلّي، وستّة قلالي للسكن. عام ١٨١٤، إنضمّ هذان الراهبان إلى الرهبانيّة اللبنانيّة المارونيّة، فتسلّمت الرهبانيّة المحبسة على عهد الرئيس العام اغناطيوس بليبل، وتحوّلت كنيستها بأمر البطريرك يوحنا الحلو إلى إسم القديسين بطرس وبولس. من أشهر حبسائها: الأب أليشاع كسّاب الحرديني شقيق القديس نعمةالله، والأب الأب شربل مخلوف أي القديس شربل. تحوّلت المحبسة إلى مزار، يزوره المؤمنون للصلاة وطلب شفاعة القدّيس شربل.The Hermitage of Sts Peter and Paul - AnnayaThe hermitage was built in 1798 by two monks from Ehmej: Youssef Abi Ramia and Dawood Bin Moussa Issa. It consisted of six cells and a chapel dedicated to the Transfiguration of the Lord. In 1814 both monks joined the Lebanese Maronite Order. The hermitage was transferred to the Order during the days of Abbot Ignatius Bleibel and by order of Patriarch Youhanna el Helou was rededicated to Sts Peter and Paul. The most famous hermits who resided in the hermitage are Fr Elishaa Kassab, the brother of St Nematullah and St Charbel Makhlouf. Today the hermitage is a shrine and a pilgrimage site to those asking for St Charbel’s intercession.

كان البناء أساسًا جزءً تابعًا للقلعة العثمانيّة القريبة منه، إشتراه أهل البلدة وحوّلوه إلى كنيسةٍ كرّسها المطران بولس بصبوص سنة ١٩١١. البناء كناية عن سوقٍ واحد مسقوفٍ بالقرميد. رُمّمت سنة ٢٠٠٥. تحوي الكنيسة لوحةً للعذراء محليّة الصنع تعرّضت للضرب بالرصاص خلال الحرب العالميّة الأولى.

The old church of Our Lady - Sarba el Nabatieh

The building was originally a part of the nearby Ottoman castle, the villagers bought it and converted it into a church that was consecrated by Bishop Boulos Basbous in 1911. The church consists of a single nave with a brick roof, it was renovated in 2005. In the church is displayed a local painting of the Madonna that holds marks of Ottoman bullets from World War I.

هي كنيسة حارة التحتا، بناها مفرّج جريس أواخر القرن التاسع عشر وجعلها وقفًا ذريًّا. لوحتها عمل كنعان ديب الدلبتاوي سنة ١٨٧٣.

The church of St George - Qartaba

It is the church of El Tahta street, built as a private chapel for the family of Moufarrej Geryes in the late XIXth century. The painting is the work of Kanaan Dib from Dlebta in 1873.

كنيسة مار سمعان العاموديّ - عوسطا

هي كنيسة البلدة الرعائيّة. أُتِمّت بسعي رئيس الجمهوريّة آنذاك الشيخ بشارة الخوري في خمسينيّات القرن العشرين. نمط البناء بازيليكيّ بسيط، مع واجهة نيوغوطيّة. تتميّز الكنيسة بمذابحها الثلاث وجرن عمادها من الرخام الأبيض المنحوت، كذلك ثلاث لوحات تعود لمدرسة الأرت ديكو.

The church of St Simon the Stylite - Ghosta

The church is Ghosa’s parish church. It was built with the aid of then president Sheikh Bechara el Khoury in the fifties of the XXth century. Its style is basilical with a neo gothic facade. The church holds three ornate white marble altars and a baptistery, with three art deco paintings.
