كنيسة مار جرجس - عمارة شلهوب أعطى المطران المثلث الرحمات نعمة الله سلوان الإذن ببناء الكنيسة ( كنيسة القديس مارون آنذاك) وأوقفت الأرض من المرحوم سلوم بسول سنة ١٨٩٩. اكتمل بناء الكنيسة مار جرجس الأعظم حوالي سنة ١٩٠٠/١٩٠١ من أموال أبناء الرعيّة بدليل تعيين أول وكيل وقف سنة ١٩٠٠ وتسجيل أول عمادة فيها سنة ١٩٠١ كما وتعيين أول كاهن لخدمتها سنة ١٩٠٢. تضرّر السقف خلال الحرب اللبنانيّة فتمّ ترميمه وطرشه على عجل. عند ترميم الكنيسة الثاني سنة ٢٠١٧ تم اعادة كشف رسومات السقف الأصلية. St. George Church - Amaret Chalhoub The late Salloum Bessoul donated the land for the building of the Maronite Church of St. Maron (at that time), and Archibishop Neematullah Selwan granted permission for its construction. The construction of the Church of St. George the Great was completed around 1900/1901 from the funds of the parishioners, with the appointment of the first trustee in 1900 and the registration of the first baptism in 1901, as well as the appointment of the first priest to serve in it in 1902. The ceiling was damaged during the Lebanese war and was hastily restored and painted. During the second restoration of the church in 2017, the original ceiling paintings were rediscovered.

بُنيت الكنيسة القديمة سنة ١٧٩٧، وهي من أقدم رعايا أعالي كسروان، تحوي ثلاث لوحات مهمّة: مار يوحنّا لداود القرم، السيّدة والطفل لحبيب سرور، ومار يوسف لكنعان ديب. بقربها بُنيت الكنيسة الجديدة في ١٤ أيلول سنة ١٩٨٤.

The church was built in 1797, and it is one of the oldest churches in the mountains of Keserwan. It holds three paintings: The Baptism of Jesus for Dawoud al Qorm, the Madona for Habib Srour, St Joseph for Kanaan Dib. Near the old church a new one erected and was consecrated on the 14th of September 1984.

بُنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٧٥٥ في عهد البطريرك يعقوب عوّاد وكرّسها المطران سمعان عوّاد اسقف صيدا. هي اولى الكنائس المارونيّة التي بنيت في منطقة شرقيّ صيدا وساحل جزّين. تتميّز بهندستها البسيطة وبالنقوش على أعتاب أبوابها المنخفضة. خُرّبت إبّان الحرب الأهليّة وأعيد ترميمها في تسعينات القرن العشرين.

The church was built in 1755 during the pontificate of Patriarch Jacob Awad and was consecrated by Sidon’s bishop Simon Awad. It is the first maronite church in the vicinity of Sidon. The architecture is simple and doted with symbolic arabesque over the small narrow doors. During the civil war it was heavily damaged and restored during the nineties.

كنيسة السيّدة - وادي جزّين

بُنيت الكنيسة الأولى أواخر القرن الثامن عشر وهي كنيسة صغيرة بسقف خشبيّ بهبة من الشيخ بشير جنبلاط. نجت هذه الكنيسة بأعجوبة من الخراب خلال أحداث ١٨٤٠ حين حاول المعتدون إحراق السقف الخشبيّ فلم يحترق وسنة ١٨٦٠ حين وريت بالضباب. سنة ١٨٩٠ أخذت الكنيسة شكلها الحاليّ، لكنّ البناء لم يكتمل إلّا سنة ١٩٠٣ بسعي أبناء البلدة في الأرجنتين. في الكنيسة لوحتان للسيّدة إحداهما تعود للقرن الثامن عشر، والأخرى تعود لسنة ١٩٠١ من عمل الياس الأسمر كرم.

The church of Our Lady - Wadi Jezzine

The first church was built in the XVIIIth century, it was a small church with a wooden ceiling, on a plot of land donated by Sheikh Bachir Joumblat. The church was miraculously saved from being burned in 1840, and was hidden by a thick fog from the eyes of the aggressors during the war of 1860. In 1890 the church took its final shape with a stone vaulted ceiling. the church was finally completed in 1903. The church holds two paintings of the Virgin Mary: an XVIIIth century icon , and another one from 1901 by Elias Asmar Karam.
