كنيسة مار جرجس - عمارة شلهوب أعطى المطران المثلث الرحمات نعمة الله سلوان الإذن ببناء الكنيسة ( كنيسة القديس مارون آنذاك) وأوقفت الأرض من المرحوم سلوم بسول سنة ١٨٩٩. اكتمل بناء الكنيسة مار جرجس الأعظم حوالي سنة ١٩٠٠/١٩٠١ من أموال أبناء الرعيّة بدليل تعيين أول وكيل وقف سنة ١٩٠٠ وتسجيل أول عمادة فيها سنة ١٩٠١ كما وتعيين أول كاهن لخدمتها سنة ١٩٠٢. تضرّر السقف خلال الحرب اللبنانيّة فتمّ ترميمه وطرشه على عجل. عند ترميم الكنيسة الثاني سنة ٢٠١٧ تم اعادة كشف رسومات السقف الأصلية. St. George Church - Amaret Chalhoub The late Salloum Bessoul donated the land for the building of the Maronite Church of St. Maron (at that time), and Archibishop Neematullah Selwan granted permission for its construction. The construction of the Church of St. George the Great was completed around 1900/1901 from the funds of the parishioners, with the appointment of the first trustee in 1900 and the registration of the first baptism in 1901, as well as the appointment of the first priest to serve in it in 1902. The ceiling was damaged during the Lebanese war and was hastily restored and painted. During the second restoration of the church in 2017, the original ceiling paintings were rediscovered.

دير سيّدة البزاز - ساحل علما

بنى الدّير الشيخ عاد صخر الخازن سنة ١٧٢٠ وجعله للراهبات العابدات. واتّبعت عابداته قانون الراهبة هنديّة قبل إلغاء رهبانيّتها. بقي الدّير حتّى منتصف القرن العشرين يضمّ بنات وأرامل العائلة الخازنيّة اللواتي خصّصن حياتهنّ للصلاة. واليوم هو وقفٌ خاص للعائلة. كنيسته صغيرة بعقدٍ مصالب، تضمّ لوحة العذراء المُرضعة وهي رومانيّة المصدر.

The monastery of Our Lady of the milk - Sahel Alma

The monastery was built by Sheikh Aad Sakher el Khazen in 1720, who gave it to the cloistered nuns that followed the rules of Mother Hendiyé Ajaimi before her order was dissolved. The monastery housed until the mid XXth century the daughters and the widows of the Khazen family who consecrated their lives to religion. The monastery is now a private possession of the Khazen family. The church is a crossed vault structure holding a roman painting depicting the blessed mother feeding the Lord.

كنيسة مار يوسف - وطى الجوز
بنيت الكنيسة سنة ١٩١٧ فوق كنيسةٍ أقدم عهدًا. رمّمت وأخذت شكلها الحاليّ سنة ١٩٧٥. لوحة مار يوسف من عمل كنعان ديب الدلبتاوي تعود لسنة ١٨٦٨. تتميّز الكنيسة بقبّة حجريّة بشكل طابيّة كاهن يعلوها صليب.

The church of St Joseph - Wata el Jawz
The church was built in 1917 over an older church, and took its final form in the restoration of 1975. The painting of St Joseph is made by Kanaan Dib in 1868. The bell tower is topped by a sculpture of a Tabye, the traditional maronite priestly hat, with a cross over it.

محبسة مار سمعان العاموديّ وادي البواليع - عبيدات المحبسة عبارة عن تَجوِيفٍ مَحفُورٍ فِي الصَّخر، بِدَاخِله صُوَرٌ جُدرَانِيَّةٌ تعود إِلى القَرن الثَّاني عَشَر. مِن بَينِ هِﺬهِ الجُدرَانِيّات رَسمُ الشفاعة، وَكِتَابَةٌ سِرَيَانِيَّةٌ لَم يَبقَ منهَا
وَمِن الرُّسُومِ إلّا القَلِيل بِسَبَب عَوَامِل الطَّبِيعَة وَجَهل الإِنسَان.

يَتمُّ الصُعُودُ إِلَى غُرَفِ الدَّير بِوَاسِطة سَلَالِم خَشَبِيَّةٍ وَأُخرَى حَدِيدِيَّةٍ مُستَحدَثَةٍ.تُجَاوِرُ دَيرَ مَار سِمعَان كَنِيسَة
مَارت مُورَا، وَهِيَ عِبَارَةٌ عَن نَقرٍ في الصَخرِ.بحسب الخبراء جداريّات عبيدات تعودُ لراسم جداريّات كنيسة
مار تادرس بحديدات.

 


The hermitage of St Simeon the stylite in Wadi al-Bouwayli'e - 'Abeydat The monastery is a hollowed-out cavity in the rock, containing frescoes dating back to the XIIth century. Among these wall paintings is the depiction of the deisis, as well as Syriac inscriptions, of which only a few remain due to natural factors and human ignorance. Access to the monastery's chambers is achieved through newly installed wooden and iron ladders. Adjacent to the Mar Simeon monastery is the St Moura's Church, which is a carved cave in the rock. According to experts, the wall paintings in 'Abeydat belong to the same artist who painted the wall paintings in the Mar Tadros Church in Behadidat.


La Ermita de San Simeón el estilita en Wadi al-Bouwayli'e - 'Abeydat El monasterio es una cavidad excavada en la roca, que contiene frescos que datan del siglo XII. Entre estas pinturas murales se encuentra la representación de la deisis, así como inscripciones siríacas, de las cuales, debido a factores naturales y la ignorancia humana, solo quedan unas pocas. Para acceder a las cámaras del monasterio se utilizan las escaleras de hierro y madera recién instaladas. Colindante al monasterio de San Simeon se encuentra la iglesia de San Moura, que es una cueva tallada en la roca. Según los expertos, las pinturas murales de 'Abeydat pertenecen al mismo artista que pintó las pinturas murales de la iglesia de San Tadros en Behadidat
