دير راهبات العائلة المقدّسة المارونيّات - عبرينسنة ١٨٩٦ غادرت الأم المؤسِّسة لراهبات العائلة المقدّسة روزالي مع راهباتها من مدرسة بطرس شحادة في جبيل إلى عبرين لتداعي البناء وحاجته للترميم. وشاءت العناية الإلهيّة ان تتدبّر الأموال بيد المطران (البطريرك المكرّم) الياس الحويّك، لشراء بيت ومزرعة واكد الشيخاني في عبرين وتحويلها إلى دير ومدرسة، مع كنيسة ذات زجاجيّات مميّزة، وقبوٍ معقودٍ تحتها، هو مرقد البطريرك الآن. والقبو مزيّن بجداريّات يوسف الحويّك. أصبح دير العائلة المقدّسة الدير الأمّ للجمعيّة وأصبحت الراهبات تُعرفن براهبات عبرين.The Holy Family’s convent - Ibrin1896 was a pivotal year for Mother Rosaly the new superior general of the new Maronite congregation of the Holy Family, as the nun moved from Boutros Shehade’s school in Jbeil to the farm estate of Waked el Shikhany in Ibrin. In his diaries Bishop Elias Howayek (later Venerable Patriarch) relates how the money for the purchase was due to the Divine Providence’s intercession. Bishop Howayek transformed with the nuns the estate into a convent with a school and a beautiful church with stained glass windows, and a crypt with Youssef el Howayek’s frescoes (the only Lebanese art deco style paintings). The crypt is also the resting place of Patriarch el Howayek. Since its construction, the convent became the mother house of the Holy Family’s nuns and they are widely known as the Nuns of Ibrin.

كاتدرائيّة مار الياس المارونيّة صيدا
بناها المطران أغوسطينوس البستاني على إسم شفيع المدينة مار الياس الحيّ، لتكون كرسيًّا رسميًّا له في المتروبوليّة. وكان ذلك سنة ١٩٣٨. يَذكر الكتاب المقدّس أنّ مار الباس مرّ في صيدا وهي جزء من الأراضي المقدّسة وعلى اسمه أربع كنائس مارونيّة في المدينة. الكنيسة مبنيّة على النمط البازيليكيّ، لوحة الحنية من رسم الفنان اسعد رنّو. تعرّضت للحرق ابان الحرب الأهليّة سنة ١٩٨١. وأُعيد ترميمها مؤخّرًا سنة ٢٠١٧. من أبرز ما تحويه ذخيرة عود الصليب التي حملها مطران صيدا مار انطونيوس خريش (البطريرك لاحقًا) على إثر المجمع الفاتيكاني الثاني.

St Elijah’s Maronite Cathedral Sidon.
It was built during the mandate of archbishop Augustin El Boustany, and was dedicated to Elijah the prophet patron saint of the city, to become the bishop's official new cathedral in the metropolitan city. It was built in 1838 in a basilical plan. The Old Testament states the visit of the prophet to the city. That explains the presence of four churches dedicatd to him in the city. The main painting in the apse is the work of the Lebanese painter Assaad Renno.
The cathedral was burnt down during the civil war in 1981, and finally restored in 2017. Its most prized treasure is the Holy Cross relic brought back from the Second Vatican Council by Archbishop Antonios Khoraish (Later Maronite Patriarch).

بناها الخوري يوحنا إبن الخوري فرج الحداد، وقد عُثرَ على قرطاس في كنيسة تحوم يؤيّد ذلك.
وكنيسة مار روحانا مشيّدة على بقايا برج روماني قديم آثاره ما زالت ماثلة، فزاويته الجنوبيّة الغربيّة راسخة على حجارة ضخمة من نفس مقلع حجارة بعلبك بحسب الخبراء. اما درج الكنيسة فداخليّ، وفي خاصرة حنية الكنيسة حجرة مخفية أعدّها القدماء مدفنًا لكنوزهم.
وبالقرب من هذا المعبد، اكتشف الأثريّون مدافن قديمة واستدلّوا على منزلة مهمة لمن سكن في هذه الأماكن الأثريّة.
تجدر الإشارة إلى أنّ مار روحانا المرنّم هو لقب محبّب للسريان معناه الروحانيّ، يطلق على مار قبريانوس الناسك.
St Rouhana’s church - Aïn kfaa
It was built by Fr. Youhanna son of Fr. Faraj Al Haddad, as it is attested in a manuscript belonging to the parish of Thoum.
The church is built on top of an old roman tour, the stones of which are quarried from the same source as the Great temples of Baalbek. The church has an indoor stone ladder.
Near the church many roman ruins where found and a noble necropolis.
St Rouhana the cantor is a title given by the syriacs and is translated to "the spiritual", it is given to St Cyprian the hermit.

كنيسة مار أليشاع - عمشيت

سنة ١٨٠٧ بدأ بناء الكنيسة على يد فارس شاهين يوسف كرم، وكرّست سنة ١٨١٤. البناء كناية عن عقدٍ مُصالبٍ، مقسوم إلى قسمين مفصولين بشعريّة خشبيّة. سنة ٢٠٠٦ أثناء الترميم ظهرت في الكنيسة رسوماً جدرانية في حنية المذبح تعود إلى زمن بنائها. تضمّ الكنيسة مذبحًا إنعاميًّا مُغفّرًا من البابا لاون الثالث عشر. تحوي الكنيسة على لوحة لمار إليشاع من عمل جوستي، لوحة لمار شليطا من عمل عبدالله مطر اللحفدي ولوحة لمار روكز.

The church of St Elishah - Amshit

In 1807 the construction of the church began with Fares Chahin Youssef Karam, it was completed in 1814. The structure is a crossed vault cut in half with a wooden rood screen. In 2006 during restoration, XIXth century frescoes appeared in the apse. The high altar is a privileged altar by decree of pope Leo XIII. The church holds a painting by Josty depicting St Elishaa, a painting of St Chalita by Abdalla Matar El Lehfedy and a painting of St Roch.
