محبسة مار سمعان العاموديّ وادي البواليع - عبيدات المحبسة عبارة عن تَجوِيفٍ مَحفُورٍ فِي الصَّخر، بِدَاخِله صُوَرٌ جُدرَانِيَّةٌ تعود إِلى القَرن الثَّاني عَشَر. مِن بَينِ هِﺬهِ الجُدرَانِيّات رَسمُ الشفاعة، وَكِتَابَةٌ سِرَيَانِيَّةٌ لَم يَبقَ منهَاوَمِن الرُّسُومِ إلّا القَلِيل بِسَبَب عَوَامِل الطَّبِيعَة وَجَهل الإِنسَان. يَتمُّ الصُعُودُ إِلَى غُرَفِ الدَّير بِوَاسِطة سَلَالِم خَشَبِيَّةٍ وَأُخرَى حَدِيدِيَّةٍ مُستَحدَثَةٍ.تُجَاوِرُ دَيرَ مَار سِمعَان كَنِيسَةمَارت مُورَا، وَهِيَ عِبَارَةٌ عَن نَقرٍ في الصَخرِ.بحسب الخبراء جداريّات عبيدات تعودُ لراسم جداريّات كنيسة مار تادرس بحديدات.   The hermitage of St Simeon the stylite in Wadi al-Bouwayli'e - 'Abeydat The monastery is a hollowed-out cavity in the rock, containing frescoes dating back to the XIIth century. Among these wall paintings is the depiction of the deisis, as well as Syriac inscriptions, of which only a few remain due to natural factors and human ignorance. Access to the monastery's chambers is achieved through newly installed wooden and iron ladders. Adjacent to the Mar Simeon monastery is the St Moura's Church, which is a carved cave in the rock. According to experts, the wall paintings in 'Abeydat belong to the same artist who painted the wall paintings in the Mar Tadros Church in Behadidat. La Ermita de San Simeón el estilita en Wadi al-Bouwayli'e - 'Abeydat El monasterio es una cavidad excavada en la roca, que contiene frescos que datan del siglo XII. Entre estas pinturas murales se encuentra la representación de la deisis, así como inscripciones siríacas, de las cuales, debido a factores naturales y la ignorancia humana, solo quedan unas pocas. Para acceder a las cámaras del monasterio se utilizan las escaleras de hierro y madera recién instaladas. Colindante al monasterio de San Simeon se encuentra la iglesia de San Moura, que es una cueva tallada en la roca. Según los expertos, las pinturas murales de 'Abeydat pertenecen al mismo artista que pintó las pinturas murales de la iglesia de San Tadros en Behadidat

الكرسيّ البطريركيّ للروم الملكيّين الكاثوليك - الربوة

بُني المقرّ البطريركيّ في الربوة سنة ١٩٧٦ على عهد البطريرك مكسيموس الخامس حكيم. داخل المقرّ كابيلا على اسم القدّيسة حنّة جدّة الإله، والمُميّز في هذه الكنيسة أنّها تحفة فنيّة مكسوّة بالكامل بجداريّات تمثّل مواضيع كتابيّة جمّة وأيقونات قدّيسين. الجداريّات من عمل الإيقونوغرافيّ الرومانيّ كوستيل ميسو سنة ٢٠٠٢.
The Patriarchal residence of the Greek Melkite Catholics - Rabwe

The Patriarchal residence was built in Rabwe in 1976 during the pontificate of Patriarch Maximos V Hakim. Inside the residence lies a chapel dedicated to St Anne, the grandmother of the Lord, which is completely covered with frescoes. The church is the masterpeice of the Romanian iconograpger Costel Micu in 2002. The frescoes represent various biblical scenes and icons of saints.

كنيسة مار الياس - أنطلياس

بُنيت الكنيسة كمزارٍ صغيرِ مُكرّس للنبيّ إيليّا فوق معبدٍ رومانيّ في القرن الخامس. أعاد المردة توسيع البناء الأوّل في القرن العاشر. بعد تأسيس دير سيّدة طاميش سنة ١٦٨٥ كان المطران جبرائيل البلوزاوي (البطريرك لاحقًا) يرسل راهباً ليخدم الرعيّة. سنة ١٧٢٣ سلّم البطريرك يعقوب عوّاد كنيسة مار الياس وجميع املاك الدير واوقافه الى الرهبنة الانطونيّة. شهدت كنيسة الدّير سنة ١٨٢٠ وسنة ١٨٤٠ على قسم عاميّتين إجتمعت فيهما كافة الأطياف من جبل لبنان تنديدًا بجور الأمير بشير الثاني. سنة ١٩٢٧ أخذت الكنيسة شكلها الحاليَ ورُمّمت أخيرًا سنة ٢٠٠٠.

The Church of St. Elijah - Antelias

The church was initially constructed as a small shrine atop a Roman pagan temple in the 5th century. During the 10th century, the Maradaites expanded the original shrine. After Bishop Gebrayel El Blousawi (later patriarch) established the Tamish monastery in 1685, he assigned one of its monks to serve the Antelias parish. In 1723, Patriarch Jacob Awad generously donated the church, monastery, and all associated lands to the Antonine Maronite Order. The Church of St. Elias played a significant role in two revolutionary agreements between representatives of Mount Lebanon's denominations, opposing the oppressive rule of Prince Beshir II in 1820 and 1840. The church acquired its present form in 1927 and underwent restoration in 2000.

كنيسة سيّدة الغابة - بيت شباب

بنُيت الكنيسة الأولى في القرن السابع عشر، واعتنى بإعادة بنائها آل الحايك مرّتين سنة ١٧٧٢ و١٧٧٣. خُرّبت أثناء حملة إبراهيم باشا فأعاد ترميمها الأمير حيدر أبي اللمع سنة ١٨٤٠. أخذت شكلها الحاليّ سنة ١٩٠٠ ورُمّمت سنة ١٩٩٠. في الكنيسة عدّة لوحات أهمّها اللوحة القديمة التي تعود للقرن السادس عشر، كان قد رسم فوقها كنعان ديب لوحة أخرى لم تعد موجودة سنة ١٨٣٩ وقد جرّحها فارسٌ درزيّ في أحداث ١٨٦٠، وقد نُقلت عنها لوحة لحبيب سرور تعود لسنة ١٩١٩.
The church of Our Lady of the Forest - Beit Chabeb

The church was first built in the XVIIth century, then rebuilt by the Hayek family in 1726 and 1773. It was damaged during the campaign of Mehmet Ali Pasha and restored by Prince Haidar Abi Ll Lamah in 1840. It took its final shape in year 1900, and then restored 90 years later. The church holds many paintings the most important ones being the old XVIth century icon of the Madona, that was covered by another painting by Kanaan Dib drawn in year 1839 that is no longer present. This painting was attacked by a Druze knight in the war of 1860. Habib Srour drew a copy of it in 1919.
